It does not say that but it does say in James 2:24 that we are saved by works and not by faith only.

Many Christians seem to know only one verse in the Bible..
Ephesians 2:8-10
They forget all the other wonderful verses about love and kindness.
Nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus say that Faith alone can save us. NOWHERE.
I know many very mean Christians who won't give a nickel to a starving beggar but hope to be taken to the kingdom of God. You must be joking.
Christianity is a very practical subject. Love God, Love each other. Would someone say AMEN?????

It doesn't exactly say that. I think you are confusing two different verses.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

This is saying that by faith you are saved and not by any good deed you may do.

James 2:24 says
24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

You would have to read the whole chapter to get better understanding of this verse. It is not talking about salvation. It is talking about they way you should live as a saved person. If you have faith that God will do something, your actions should reflect that. The chapter used Abraham as an example.

It does not say that anywhere in the Bible.
James 2:24 says NOT by faith alone

It doesn't.

The only place where the words "faith alone" are found are in James.....where the phrase is "NOT by faith alone."

James 2:24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. (NIV)

Hi, there is nowhere in the Bible that says "Faith alone" will save you. In fact, in the book of James, I believe its the 2nd chapter it says that "Faith" is dead if its alone.
Simplified, without "Faith" it is impossible to please God. Heb 11.6. You need "Faith" to come to Him. Heb 11.6.
"Faith" gives you access to Grace. And, it is Grace that saves you. Eph 2.8 and Rom 5.1-2.
I hope this helps you. God bless you.

The Ephesians example is correct.

Please notice that the verse in James does NOT use the word salvation, but justified. Completely different things.

Faith is lonely as it has not the mind to support it.
