I had to write a short story for English in school a few days ago, so I took it to church to let Ron (pastor of my church and an English major) read it over. He read and called it "the most unglodly thing i have read!" I admit I had other Gods, a satanic sort of language and some words that were not of a defined language but does that make it "Ungodly?"

If it is, let me ask this question. When we colonize Mars in the future, where will sinners who live on Mars go to? Will they float all the way through space back to earth and go to the center of earth or will they go to the center of Mars? Is there any Biblical scripture to support the answer to this question?

Let's assume, for a moment, that there is a God. We may not know the nature of God, or
which religion comes closest to the truth, but we can be sure of one thing:

God does not love you.

Look at all the cruelty and misery in the world, which God does nothing to stop. Right now,
as you are reading this, there are children in various places around the world being raped
and tortured. Most of us would risk our lives, give up our lives, to save them if we could.
God stands by and does nothing. God has abandoned these children, and clearly does not
love them. God does not love you, either.

There are some religions which claim that "God's love is a different kind of love", which is
supposed to explain and justify what appears to be God's divine indifference. This is total
bullshit. If I claim that I love my neighbor, and then set his house on fire and shoot him in
the head, anyone can see that my "love" is not love at all.

Another fallacy along these lines is the statement that, "God doesn't give us more than we
can handle in life". This is a ridiculous statement. Go to a mental institution, go to the ward
for those who are seriously disturbed, and you'll see people who just sit and rock back and
forth all day, staring off into space, or screaming at nonexistant terrors. God has given
them more than they could handle, and now they're totally broken.

So you have no loving God watching over you, making sure you get what you need. You
don't get what you need in life, you don't get what you want, you don't get what you
deserve. You get what you get.

MADRID, Spain - Nobel laureate Doris Lessing said the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States were "not that terrible" when compared to attacks by the IRA [Christian Terrorists] in Britain.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the Sept. 11 attacks. About 3,700 died and tens of thousands of people were maimed in more than 30 years of violence in Northern Ireland.

"As for Bush, he's a world calamity," added Lessing. "Everyone is tired of this man. Either he is stupid or he is very clever, although you have to remember he is a member of a social class which has profited from wars."

Iran also came in for a lashing from Lessing, who was born to British parents who were living in what is now Bakhtaran, Iran.

"I hate Iran, I hate the Iranian government, it's a cruel and evil government," she was quoted as saying.

This coworker and friend I have is an over all great mom,friend wife and coworker! she is very religious(christian) and compassionate, but yesterday she said something that bothered me a lot! we where talking about a gun shot victim! I said that over 140000 ppl in the USA get shot and/or die by guns,and she said that that is nothing but a drop in the bucket , as long as we have and prserve the right to carry guns bcause it is our only defence! now usualy I don't pay attention to this ,but this is a friend I thought I had ,a friend with compassion! I was wrong and it bothers me a great deal!

2 questions!

1) she told me that most ppl in their church carry guns! why are christians soooo afraid that they have to have guns and 14000 ppl are just a drop in the bucket!

2) this bothered me sooo much that I see her and I go the other way! I loved that girl! very good friends before this whole thing! what do I do?

I would like to find one bible that DIRECTLY translates the Hebrew part of ALL the documents and letters that make up the Christian and catholic bible. I would also like to get another bible for the Greek portions. It seems to me only ,that with every translation the bible gets more distant from the original.

If God isnt imprisioned by humans in some way and as some of you guys say " its us thats in prison "...then WHY THE HECK DOESNT GOD RESCUE US FROM AT LEAST RAPE AND MOLESTATION ? No. the truth is we have handcuffed Him in some way because if he wasnt He would come crashing thru and stop ALL RAPES EVERYWHERE. Not to mention murders, robberies, beatings, etc. It makes Him a heartless monster any other way....and he isnt.

Why do gays have a lisp? Does a lisp cause gayness? Does gayness cause a lisp? I can't find it in the bible.

I looked in the bible, but I could not find the answer to this question. I know the answer to all of life's questions are in the bible, so I must not have looked hard enough.
I think it might be God punishing the gays for their immorality. They sound like a serpent when they talk, like the snake in the garden of Eden. Maybe that same snake has snuck up on them and manifest itself in the gay person's mouth.

on the 7th day is the sabbath day to keep it holy six days you labour, and do all thy work : but on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work , thou , nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. The last day of the week is not sunday. This is the one most people don keep and dont even see a problem with it. I am not sure why. I have not heard a good answer in all my years of sabbath keeping . I am a christian but keep sabbath because I am told to do so and Jesus never came to change not one word of them. Do people think he came so people would rest on sunday not saturday. I just think that is a little silly. The Lord loves us and knows us and wants us to take care of our lives and insists we rest. He is saying on the 7th day your going to rest. Why do christians have a problem whith this law it is so easy to keep , but the easiest one for the devil to get you to brake,

ok,so I am living in my grandparents house now,and I have heard some stories recently. We are the only fam who have ever lived here becasue it was built when we moved in about 40 years ago. So I heard that years ago my grandma and great aunt did witchcraft and voodoo in what is now my bedroom. My uncle told my cousin when he was a kid he remembers walking in on them doing a ceromony and he remembers the scent of raw meat, and solfore(matches) which I heard means the presence of I hate to say it but the devil. I think I believe the stories too.The house has been blessed and I would like you to know that I do not support witchcraft. The past couple of weeks I have been having nightmares about my family and they always occur between 3-4am and I heard 3am was the witching hour.One week I had nightmares at 3:27 everynight. I got no sleep last night and I am afraid to go to bed and I get up at 4:50am 2 morrow. Please someone help me I need some info. I DO BELIEVE IN GOD!And I hate the story.

I can't study cuz i'm easily distracted, i don't sleep properly, instead of doing work, i like to "hang out" and/or chill, I procrastinate, I'm afraid of rejection and failure, I'm afraid of being left out, i dont work hard or make sacrifices like i should...any Christian scriptures or advice out there???
