ok,so I am living in my grandparents house now,and I have heard some stories recently. We are the only fam who have ever lived here becasue it was built when we moved in about 40 years ago. So I heard that years ago my grandma and great aunt did witchcraft and voodoo in what is now my bedroom. My uncle told my cousin when he was a kid he remembers walking in on them doing a ceromony and he remembers the scent of raw meat, and solfore(matches) which I heard means the presence of I hate to say it but the devil. I think I believe the stories too.The house has been blessed and I would like you to know that I do not support witchcraft. The past couple of weeks I have been having nightmares about my family and they always occur between 3-4am and I heard 3am was the witching hour. One week I had nightmares at 3:27 everynight. I got no sleep last night and I am afraid to go to bed and I get up at 4:50am 2 morrow. Please someone help me I need some info. I DO BELIEVE IN GOD!And I hate the story.

3 o'clock AM is indeed the 'Witching Hour'. Jesus died at 3 o'clock PM for the salvation of mankind and Satan uses 3 AM to mock Christ's death. Whenever you feel threatened or scared just call out loud to Jesus. Just say His Name and demons tremble! Pray for the protection of Gabriel the Archangel.

Okay, so it seems you are in serious need of someone who knows just what they're talking about. One, if your grandmother or great aunt is still around, ask one of them what happened, because that smell of "raw meat" may have been something as innocent as a mix of metallic smelling essential oils. If you cannot ask them however I suggest you burn some perfectly wholesome sage and light it in your room. If you are under age, or just worried about a what housemates will say if they smell something burning, you may want to tell them what's up and seek consent. If you do get this far, while burning the sage say a prayer to whomever you choose and hope for light and cleansing in your room, or even in your home. As for three being a witching I cannot say as to that being true, and I can't say whether it's the devils' hour either because personally I don't believe in him/her/it. Your dreams may also be run of the mill anxiety, and subconciouss fear for the past and future of your family. I truly hope you find a solution to your problem and can sleep better at night. If it does turn out that the sage dosen't help, I suggest you consult your religions spiritualist, and not just a clergy member, for they may provide more insight into your house problems.

Hi there,

As a practitioner of New Orleans Voodoo for over 10 years now, I can tell you that any Voodoo spirits (known as Lwa) that are in your bedroom will do you no harm. In fact, they would probably be there to protect you if anything.

It's sad that the Hollywood portrayal of this religion has cast so much fear on a lot of people. New Orleans Voodoo is a religion in which you can harness the forces of nature to help you achieve whatever it is you are seeking in your life. The Voodoo spirits are really comparable to the saints of the Catholic Religion.

As with any other religion there are abominations of the religion; people who seek to do harm to others but unless that harm is justified (as with someone who has harmed you mentally, emotionally or physically), the person performing the ritual has a great risk of their petitions backfiring on them so it's really not a good idea. I hope this eases your mind. As for witchcraft, I've never really been a practitioner but I do know there is white magic and black magic.

Oh I had a scary encounter like that. Kind of.

One night I was asleep and for some reason (I can't remember why, it was a while ago) I woke up and sat up in my bed. I slept on my bunk bed right next to the window and i remember it was a full moon. I have no idea what time it was (Most likely 3:00). Well anyway.

When I sat up I felt hands on my shoulders. I'm not joking. Someone was holding my shoulders. And with the moonlight pouring in I could see really clearly. However. No one was infront of me. There was absolutly no one there. I was so freaked I dived under my blankets. As soon as I did the feeling was gone. I managed to gain some courage and I sat up again. And to my horror I felt the hands on my shoulders.

I remember it so clearly even though it was six years ago and I was only eight. I prayed to God to help me but I never sat up again. I spent the rest of the night fully covered under the blanket execpt for a little opening near my mouth to breathe.
I almost boiled to death (So I thought) because it was the middle of summer.

But thankfully it never happened again.

Next time you go to bed bring a Bible and a torch with you and pray before you go to sleep. If you ever wake up read Psalm 18 vs 3:

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so I shall be saved from my enemies.

I don't think that your house is haunted. Wht may be affecting you is that if they indeed were performing magic, there may be latent energy left in that area. We all affect eveything we come into contact with with our own energy...Even more so if we are doing magic by focusing that energy on a specific task. Now, as to whether it was good energy or bad energy(black magic) I can't say for sure, but if it is affecting you that much, it was probably black magic. There are many good ways of cleansing a house of old energies, but you should probably talk to some of the clergy of your faith in particular about this before proceeding.

You believe in God, you do well, but have you accepted Christ as your Savior and Lord? Do not miss this one, crucial detail. It makes ALL the difference in the world. Perhaps this experience will make you aware of the spiritual warfare out there and bring you to realization you need a savior. Jesus is not a pushy salesman and will not violate your free will, but don't settle for anything less than living in His love and protection.

Blessings,

Jack

surely a fan, as long as this is somewhat good or unquestionably haunted and not some cheesy pretend "dummies falling from the ceiling" ingredient. as quickly as in Wisconsin we've been on holiday and we went to "the scariest haunted place ever" and all we did develop into stumble around in pitch darkness on a similar time as the previous guy who runs the area ran around in the back of the partitions and poked us with sticks. as quickly as i presumed that I observed the way out and that i opened a door, besides the shown fact that it develop into some storage area with the easy on. Worst "haunted place" ever!

Sulfur does not necessarily denote the present of satan. Fire, or a recently struck match, yes.

What you should do is a house blessing.
--You say you believe in God, so pray for strength.

--Thoroughly clean your house.

--Obtain some sage or pine. This can be as incense, or you can dry and crush it and put in on a charcoal block, or wrap it and set it on fire--in small bundles for fire safety. Incense is safer and works just as well.
.
--Go all over your house with your lit incense/bundle, starting in the cellar/basement and work your way to the attic. Don't forget the corners or the closets. Also go in the garage and around the house outside.

--As you go over the house, say "I bless this house in the name of my God. Only happiness and love dwell within." Chant or say it firmly it over and over until you're done.

--When you are done, go outside and say "I bless this house in the name of my God. Only happiness and love dwell within. As I will so mote it be!" Then pray if you like.

This is a typical witch's house blessing. I hope it works for you.

There is no such thing as ghosts or witchcraft.

I bet it's the aliens in spaceships causing the nightmares.
