Well, I would feel ..... a lil grumpy and then I would shout for joy .... "Welcome to Sydney, Gazpacho"!
Oh... yeah.. and You are welcome too! We love having visitors!.. sure half of Great Britain is already here ... and frankly.. it's a real cultural melting pot consisting of people from all round the world... and the weather's pretty good for drying your clothes on the line outside.

That's not fair Zalem. I wasn't on when you posted your question! If I were still living in America, I would have said 'come on over honey and stay with me!" Now everybody from America wants to come to Greece (even the people I hardly knew) and I always welcome them with hugs. So, if you change your mind about America, Crete is here and we have some of the best hospitality in the world.

Why does everyone want to come here if we are so evil?
Nothing personal, but there are too many people coming here right now .... sooner or later we will have to cut down all the National Forests to accommodate the rest of the world, who paradoxically hate us but want to move here nonetheless
They aren't making new land (or earthly resources in general) ya know

I did not answer the question.
Had I though I would have given you a crash course in sarcasm as it is the official language here. (as it was in your answers) (as well as your question I would guess)

You asked what we would do to make America feel like "home".
If you are happy with your home, why would you want to move somewhere where everything is different?
I can't think of one single country I could move to where people would bustle about trying to make everything more "American" for my comfort. Obviously, if I moved to India, for instance, I would expect to fit myself into my new home, rather than expecting my new home to fit itself around me.
Now, if you had asked what I would do to make you feel welcome, that would have been different.

I didn't answer that question for obvious reasons - The US is not my country. But, be sure, if you ever decide to come to Brazil, to visit or to live, you'll be more than welcome!! :)

Move to Canada instead.
We have cookies.
And you're welcome.
And hey, while we're on it, Canada is bigger! We have more land for you to live on!
