Why do gays have a lisp? Does a lisp cause gayness? Does gayness cause a lisp? I can't find it in the bible.

Don't delete this question. This is relevant to R&S.

I looked in the bible, but I could not find the answer to this question. I know the answer to all of life's questions are in the bible, so I must not have looked hard enough.
I think it might be God punishing the gays for their immorality. They sound like a serpent when they talk, like the snake in the garden of Eden. Maybe that same snake has snuck up on them and manifest itself in the gay person's mouth.

Still projecting those fantasies, eh? Perhaps that explains finishing all your vegetables and grovelling for dates? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aomdu7QWZUgCtlpNmdRp9gvty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071019123516AA9T4oO

Some gays and other people lisp! Not only gays lisp!

Why not post a question like

What is the cultural reason for some gays acquiring a lisp when they do not have a speech handicap over in the relevant group?

Incidentally in Biblical times the Romans apparently joked about Greek intellectuals having a lisp when they spoke in Latin!

Its not a "gay" thing! Its a language thing!

It's very wrong to say those things about another human being. You should be ashamed of calling yourself a christian.

First of all, God is all about love, you should be checking out that on the Bible, and in second place, if God doesn't judge anyone, who are you to do that? Don't you have sins too? If you think not, just read what you said on your question.

You need to learn to have more respect for the people who surrounds you in this world. If your life someday (God forbids) were in danger, the person who rescues you could be gay, and that doesn't make it less of a good person. So don't judge anyone, you don't know when you're going to need them.

Greg T:

This is the second ridiculous post I have read of yours in the past 5 minutes. Seriously, you are out of control.

As for whether your question is "relevant", let's look at this definition (it's not in the bible either, you'll have to open up a dictionary):

1 a: having significant and demonstrable bearing on the matter at hand b: affording evidence tending to prove or disprove the matter at issue or under discussion c: having social relevance

I don't think your question meets any of those definitions.

PS Are you sure you're not gay yourself? In my experience, people who are obsessed with these sorts of things are usually hiding something.

You are a Troll!!!! You can't be serious!!!
Its not connected in any way... Lisps are just as frequent in straight people as in gays. And its not exactly a bad thing to have a lisp it can be quite cute... so not much of a punishment either!

1) Not all gays have a lisp.

2) Some people with lisps are not gay

3) The mincing, limp-wristed, lisping gay is a stereotype and is no longer valid in today's world.

4) Intolerance is never appreciated in any era.

You realize straight people have lisps too, its just due to the effeminizing of their demeanor, and why is it a 'punishment'? It isn't that big of a deal.

Plus, not all gay people have lisps.

Even if it did constitute as a speech impediment, what did stutterers ever do to God to deserve their 'punishment'?

s-ummmmm
th(s)orry to tell you thissssss
j/k

but i don't have a lisp. Im gay about 85% of my gay guy friends don't have a lisp. Too.

I am not mad, I just wana tell you more people are gay that you expect so you will not expect some of your close (gay bashing) friends might be gay them selves too.

There are alot of stereotypes and most of them aren't real. Just as people have stereotypes about all races and qulicks the aren't real.

You know 9 times out of ten, homophobes are projecting what they consider their own in inadequacies. You consider your own homosexuality as an inadequacy, don't you.

You poor confused man. All of that hatefulness must be eating you up inside. You are pitiable to say the very least.

wtf.....some southerners have lisps and not all of them are gay, it has nothing to do with sexuality, it's where the person was raised,
