Do you think that he would be shot and killed (of course he would rise again) or do you think people would accept that he was the son of God...this scenerio is as if he had never lived in Biblical times.

Actually Christ could not live in our time. The method of death described so perfectly in Psalms 22 could only happen under the Roman Empire's rule of Jerusalem. The method of death, the scourging, the travel through the streets of Jerusalem up to Golgotha, and the description of how people stared and wagged their tongues. The gambling at the foot of the cross by the soldiers for his only garment----his death and his ultimate burial in a borrowed tomb. All too much to comprehend in today's society.

I think people would think he's an insane person or a false prophet....a cult leader, if you will. Because of the wide availability of information in this day and age, people are well aware of the myriad false prophets and charismatic leaders that have misled people throughout history...unless Jesus pulled a pretty convincing trick out of his sleeve, he would likely be treated the same.

That's a good question, Little Fluff.
We would think he was insane, the same way we view people who have claimed to be Christ. If and when the event ever happens, how will we know it's the real Jesus?

I think people would likely hate them as they did then. But think of Jesus in the world today. He would be on every channel on the tv. He would be offered book deals and movie deals. The government would probably try to regulate Him. Science would want to examine Him to see how He does what He does. It would be a mess.

No point in any further sacrifice, since this time everything would be permanent. But getting established would involve another scenario. He might have to operate out of sub in international waters for a while, kind of like Captain Nemo.

When Jesus come back He will not come back like He did the first time. People like you will be trying to crawl under rocks trying to get away from His judgement, so go ahead with keep poking fun at Him.

I don't know..but my guess is, he would be treated in exactly the same way, he was back then..People haven't changed. They still don't believe a miracle if they see one....they need a scientific reason for it....and if they don't have one, they make one up.

But you can be sure of one thing, the next time he comes back,, they will know who he is beyond question..."Every knee shall bow and every mouth confess..that Jesus Christ is Lord"...Every knee....every atheist,,,every Buddhist, every Jew, every Hindi, every agnostic,,,,every Muslim....every knee shall bow....

Well ultimately God's plan would prevail because JESUS was sinless.
Also, what would the world be like today if He didn't come back then? What would we be like?
