Is a BOS, for notations, like rites, rituals, and a Grimoire, for spells? Can someone clarify? i know,I know, you are all probably tired of all my seemingly silly questions, but in most books, sites, i have read, the name of Grimoire is only used once, on a site i have seen. The rest calls it a BOS. are they really that diffrent? The reason for my many questions,is simple,I can't find these answers in the books, sites, i have read. Please bear with me as I learn, as some (who shall remain nameless,for i do not wish to embarrass them,) have answered my many questions with grace with their many years of knowledge in a religion I am just beginning to understand.

It happened to me. I was laying on the couch and I heard a dog barking but the barking turned into words. "Pat, this is Jesus. I'm coming to your house but I'm tied up. Come and untie me." I was too freaked out to move.

Is religion an addiction for some and could it be caused by the recently discovered addiction gene?

If you currently possess a TV, computer, music stereo, games console or a bunch of them, I ask why? Doesn't Luke 12:33 say you should donate them to charity to the needy?

God is not commanding Christians to sell everything, he's just saying that following God is more important than worldly possessions.

Wait a sec, I'm sure Jesus did command it in the bible? Or is this one of those interpretations?

I am having trouble seeing my 2 sons, they live with their mother (ex wife) I have been trying for custody for yrs. The problem is she keeps buying them everything they want. I keep telling myself that one day they will know what is going on. PLEASE say a prayer for them to help protect them.

Our church was broken into for the second time in 4-5 months.They destroyed stuff stole guitars,a computer, destroyed our safe, thank God there was no money in it.That just makes me so angry. But for the most part I wouldn't want to be them when they have to answer to God for what they have done.What do you think posses ppl to do such rotten things?

Does one recieve it by killing people in jihad or by loving ones enemies? Which is harder - Killing your enemies or loving them? God created life and now he expects people to kill people over religious questions no one really knows? Satan is the murderer and the father of it, says so in the bible. Now allah wants you to commit murder to go to heaven? I think you you will receive HELL. LOVE YOUR ENEMIES EVEN IF THEY HARM YOU. THAT IS THE PATH TO LIFE. islam leads to the devil and death.

that replied to my answer about baptism.
They thought the water part was when you were
born from your mom. the spirit part is getting saved. I never realized people may think this.
Jesus let John the baptist baptize him. in water.
so that would be something jesus hisself did.
There is so much misconception about so many
things, if you really seek an answer, it is written
in there, dont rely on what others tell you.
God will show you in his word, the truth is there.

The Bible Allows Multiple Wives {I Kings 11:3}

In The Koran, God limits the number to 4 only under certain situations (with the wife's permission)and prefers you marry only one wife {Koran 4:3} The Koran gives the woman the right to choose who to marry.

yet the verses are so vaguely quoted that they can be intrerpreted in many ways depending on the person reading it(just as the book of nostradamus is today). you can't say that the quran is scientific accurate as this is clearly false or you would say the book of nostrasamus (much higher hit rate) is real as well.

Why is it that many of today's Christians feel the need to destroy someone else's belief? I have seen many so-called "Christians" tell other people that what they believe is wrong even though they are doing their best to live a Christ-like life, but yet those who say it is wrong don't even follow the teachings of Christ themselves. What I have seen in mainline society is that no one takes the time to understand what someone else's believes. They just assume from maybe what a neigbor said that it has to be wrong.

I recently rec'd an article pointing out a fact I wasn't previously aware of... Harper San Francisco (Harper Collins), the company that owns the copyright on NIV through its subsidiary Zondervan, also publishes Anton La Vey's Satanic Bible. Not only do they publish this abominaton: basically the antithesis of Holy Bible, but it's presently their 6th best selling book (rank changes daily)! This inspired me to look more closely at this company, owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Was not the mandate of Oxford University Press to make money for the university by publishing whatever people paid for? So then, perhaps there were also RRC & Protestant per-versions of KJV published in 1611, since both 'popish people' & 'self-conceited brethren' traduced & maligned Translators of the Bible on both sides, as noted in their Epistle Dedicatory.
