yeah you so don't want to hear it, but most of the time it doesn't work, there are a couple people in the bible that got it that way, but they had, had a strong relationship with god for a couple hundred years, and, excuse me but god doesn't always answer the way you want him to, he may have already given you a different opportunity, or maybe he knows that if you have this breakthrough, a better one won't come through, or that this one will turn you down the wrong path. Pray about it, and try not to yell at him, knows total patience he'll wait till your done, and then tell you that it still can't be done that way.
I know many people that have experienced it that way, so just listen to him. you'll save you voice ;)

Rarely -- since in the first place, God doesn't respond well to ultimatums....

Second -- under most religious models -- any failure to have a breakthrough is a failure on your part to listen to the Divine -- not any fault of God.

However, if the block is in your subconcious -- and the "or else..." is serious enough -- it might be enough for you to listen -- but only if you are really serious. If it's just a "or I'll stop listening/trying to talk to God" -- then nothing will happen.

Done doing what? What is the breakthrough you are wanting? God doesn't give in to demands and cannot be threatened. I have 2 teenagers and they don't always get what they want WHEN they want it because as their parent I know when they are ready. Good things to those who wait and are patient. They will also appreciate them more and the person who gave it to them. Peace

I don't think god will take to your demands. Maybe you aren't doing the right things to get your "breakthrough" . I'm not really sure what you want from him, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

I doubt so.

And what you get out of life is a lot more of the effort you put into it rather than miracles.

You can't expect some unseen being to just hand you something because you demand it. You have to have the will and work for whatever it is you want and patience!

Good Luck

Nope. God doesn't care about your threats.
Lucifer threatened him as well and God threw his sorry a s s AND a third of those who followed him into hell. If God would do that to one of his most prized angels just think of what he will do to you. You are nothing but another lost soul on the way to oblivion.
Do what you like...Do what you want...Live how you choose and you will reap what you sow.

No that will not work!!!! One of the many virtues that God has given us all is Patience.... he wants you to use the gifts you are given. Have patience---wait upon the lord. Do not rush him for he knows his plans for you they are for god and not evil. (Jeremiah 29:11) He will never lay upon you more than you can bear!

God knows the perfect time to move in your life. It is up to Him to decide when it is best to help you. Just keep trusting in Him, who else can do a miracle for you.
