Greek and Roman conquests. Had they not taken over Europe, most of the people of the United States would be Pagan.

p.s. It isn't the only accepted story, just the one most commonly accepted in places conquered by Europeans. Romans never conquered or populated countries like China and India, so you won't find the belief in this version of God very common in those countries.

The bloodlines desire to make it so. What ever they have wanted is brought to fruition. Until now. The world is waking up and we are becoming new people. Our DNA is changing. Instead of the single double helix we are "growing" the rest of our missing strands. There are many side effects to these changes, but they are temporary. We are now 4D and no longer 3D. But, we are still trying to live in the 3D and it's not working. We are the light and we need to wake up and realize it. Then, the Hebrew story will be left behind in the dirt where it came from.

The history of the hebrews is represented in Hosea. It represents the loving relationship God had with His chosen people and the way they always strayed from the Lord.

To answer this question with one word Or perhaps two... yes, two will do... Abraham's faith. Abraham was a very faithful man who always cared to please God. It is hard to imagine Abraham... Either he was a near perfect man among normals or a good man among bad people or a normal man among terrible people. However, the promise that God would prosper him started in the promise God made to Abraham, that he would prosper his children.

I realize that you ask, why not the Koran? Well, Muslims are descendants of Ismael, Abraham's illegitimate son. God did prosper the Muslims for many years, however they weren't the chosen descendants that God promised He would prosper.

However, salvation is open to every soul who accepts Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.

It's not the only accepted story for the world. it is the only story acceptable to Jews and Christians, which are not the world, only a fraction of it. The story is only acceptable because of the christian attribute to kill anyone that does not believe the story, this was accomplished over two thousand years of slavery, murder, extortion, bribery, rape, torture, warfare, etc. Sound like a warm and fuzzy religion you want to join does it?

God made a covenant with Israel (Jacob) and his descendant. [Holy Scriptures, Old Testament]

God made an another covenant to those who wish to be coheirs in Christ Jesus. [New Testament]

This is revelation spoken through the prophets. It is not a story but a belief that you can choose to believe or not.
