I recently rec'd an article pointing out a fact I wasn't previously aware of... Harper San Francisco (Harper Collins), the company that owns the copyright on NIV through its subsidiary Zondervan, also publishes Anton La Vey's Satanic Bible. Not only do they publish this abominaton: basically the antithesis of Holy Bible, but it's presently their 6th best selling book (rank changes daily)! This inspired me to look more closely at this company, owned by Rupert Murdoch.
Dare to compare Revelation 22:21 in NIV & KJV

Yet what about KJV: Holy Bible: Seventh Bible?
Was not the mandate of Oxford University Press to make money for the university by publishing whatever people paid for? So then, perhaps there were also RRC & Protestant per-versions of KJV published in 1611, since both 'popish people' & 'self-conceited brethren' traduced & maligned Translators of the Bible on both sides, as noted in their Epistle Dedicatory.

Dear LaVereB,
What many in USA call freedom of religion is actually plan B: Bondage.

Dear Kaltasia,
I'm neither having a sh*t fit, nor against anyone; Rather for awareness and understanding, which comes with grace and truth, not laws witch are against us.

Publishers make their money printing books...they are a business, not a religion. There is no "magic" that goes into printing a Bible..no ceremony or such..What does it matter..People are free to buy and read what they wish..I am a Christian, but I do not want to see any laws etc passed where you can't buy the Satanic Bible. I would actually like to read it . I have always wanted to talk to a Satanist that really believed in Satan..most don't.. That's my right to learn and one of my freedoms that is guaranteed in a democracy.

So what? A publisher publishes what sells. He may or may not take it seriously. But I will tell you one thing you may not know: Anton LaVey was known to the pagan community of San Francisco. He did NOT take the Satanic Bible seriously. He wrote it (1) to make money, (2) to promote his "church" of Satan, which was basically a free love organization, and (3) acknowledged that he didn't really believe in either God or Satan, but only wanted to make people think about what they believe. Shock value, if you will. Satan is, after all, a fictional character created by either the Jews or the Christians, or created by the Jews and fleshed out by the Christians.

They are publishers. That's what they do...they publish.
They are a business. Publishers do not judge a book other that if it is going to be profitable for them.
Believe it or not we live in the US and have this thing called The Constitution. It gives all of us freedom of religion. That means to worship (or not) as we wish.

Isn't there a story about people preaching Jesus and the disciples pointed out to Jesus "they are not of us?" and he basically said just rejoice it gets preached? I think it's better to read the King James but we don't want to strain gnats and swallow camels is my first reaction. there is enough of God's word in an NIV bible to get someone saved. I know my Grandpa read his Good News bible three times, got saved as a result and is now in heaven. Praise GOD!

They are books and a publishing house prints books that will get them profits. It is up the individual whether or not they wish to buy it. If a person doesn't like their practices, buy from another source. That pretty much goes for anything mass produced.

Light and darkness can not occupy the same place, if you kick the light out darkness comes in it place, look at the united states today and you will see, also you can only love one master, you'll love one and hate the other if you love two.

If this were my printing company, I would not be able to print both books. It is sad that it does come down to money. He needs to make a stand if he is a true Christian, then again, maybe he is not.
