ed after Paul. I am not sure about Paul, but I am sure Jesus would have preferred it that way since it completely distorts what he was teaching.

"God" gave us a sense of humor, it only makes sense to use it. if we can't laugh about it, we usually end up fighting-so why doesn't culture encourage light teasing of religious beliefs- if believers are so sure of their faith it shouldn't be able to affect them anyway

"Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS."

Tell me all you want that she would be honoured, or whatever logic you like, but should this not have been her choice to make?

LAWS IN THE COSMOS
In science we study the laws found in the creation. Atheists have said that we do not need to believe in God, because the universe functions according to laws. But where did these laws come from? These laws are mathematical and rational. Could mindless energy have made mathematical laws out of chaos? No! These laws show an intelligent lawgiver. Irrational energy could not have produced rational laws. Why do the laws of the universe continue to function? Why are these laws regular?

Men have studied the universe in which we live. They have found that there are laws of physics and chemistry. These laws were not originated by men, but only discovered. These laws existed before men discovered them. It has taken much intelligence, knowledge and hard work just to discover these laws. Men did not make these laws. Did nature make these laws? Nature has no mind. Nature is dumb, blind and deaf. No, nature could not have made the laws that govern nature. Did these laws come about by chance? Chance is random, disorderly, destructive. Chance also is dumb, blind and deaf. No, chance could not have originated the laws of creation.

Physics and Mathematics

Scientists have found that the laws of the universe are mathematical in nature. These mathematical laws were not invented by men, but only found to exist already. Mathematics show a rationality in the order of the universe. In physics and engineering mechanics, experience has proven the mathematical laws to be reality. For example, men were sent to the moon and they were even brought back; the calculations were accurate. The rationality of mathematical laws in the universe demands a rational intelligent origin. Random chance evolution could not have brought forth these laws from chaos. The cosmos shows the work of a Great Mathematician. To accept science, one must logically believe in God who created science.

The Periodic Law in Chemistry

Take for example the material elements. They are made out of energy. The great Russian chemist, Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, discovered the periodic law. He set up the periodic chart of the elements. Mendeleev found that elements are constructed according to the periodic law, not chance. Chemical elements also react according to laws of chemistry.

Laws Show the Lawgiver

Yes, the laws of the universe demand an intelligent Law Giver, a Mind. The laws of physics show the great Physicist. The laws of chemistry show the great Chemist. In the Bible, the great Law Giver calls Himself, God. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

It is He who made the earth by His power,
Who established the world by His wisdom;
And by His understanding He has
stretched out the heavens. Jeremiah 10:12.

The Lord by wisdom founded the earth.
By understanding He established
the heavens. Proverbs 3:19.

Do you know the ordinances of the heavens,
Or fix their rule over the earth? Job 38:33.

Why Do the Laws Continue to Function?

In science we assume that the laws of the universe are regular and will continue to function. This is only an assumption, as there is no reason for it unless God keeps it this way.
. . . and upholds all things by the word of His
power. . . Hebrews 1:3. Col. 1:17.

Thursday last, whilst dining at a fashionable eatery in New York, I had occasion to take pause. At an adjacent table, which seemed to be hosted by a chimpanzee, (subsequently informed that the chimp was Professor Emeritus Cornelius P. Rymaight of UMM [University of Marmoset Maryland]) I spotted a supposed simian relative (a human) scratching his back with a fork! The chimpanzee, er... the Professor, gave him a look of utter disdain and shock. In fact, he was so astonished and mortified that he nearly dropped a handful of mashed potatoes! Later, he was heard to remark: "Such a display of ill manners! I refuse to believe that these people are related! "

Question: Do you agree with the chimpanzee?

When Jesus was
a little boy
do you think he
was like me?

For example....

Did he wonder
when his
birthday was
and wait impatiently?

Did he open up
his presents
throwing paper
on the floor?

Did he kiss his
mum and daddy
eat cake and
candy things galore?

And when he did
get older
and become
a beared man
did he have a
Roman Toga party and
play football on the sand?

It's a spiritual event
his birthday and
we celebrate world wide
is this not too much to
ask without rorting!

Do you really have to
do this
constant
reporting?

Would his Birthday be
if he just be
an ordinary Joe..
a spiritual expereince
though?

A regular Joe like me
a special man?
Could be?
a person just like you?
Well then....
how about Jack B?

I am trying to find out who my patron god is (and no, it's not jehovah!). Problem is, he's being a tease and seems to be enjoying my suspense. I know he has to do with the sun and daylight, but he WON 'T tell me his name, and he thinks I'm all his, both physically and spiritually-- he's jealous of my patron goddess and I feel all dark inside if I don't light his candle first. It's got me a little nervous, and lately even intercourse with my husband feels like a threesome. I figure if he isn't willing to reveal himself to me, then he has no right to invade my privacy. Any idea who this is? I'm thinking dionysis...? Or something bigger?

Do you agree that alternate theory ("matheistic design") should be part of the school curriculum? And why are "a-matheists" afraid to present both sides of the story and let people decide for themselves?

1+1=2 is just a mathematical theory!!

If you think about it... when we do something wrong, anything wrong we always pay for it. There's always consequences to our actions. And it's not like a spanking and then it's over with. It's like a snowball effect. So you are continuously paying for your sins here on earth. One thing leads to another... cause and effect... so on and so forth. But then on top of that we go to hell??? How fair is that?

Just curious.

I've heard alot about Catholicism being a pagan religion behind it all, and also that the Pope is an antichrist / false prophet.

I was just curious as to what Catholics thought about all this.

Thanks, and God Bless.

Is each particle of consciousness dependent upon every other? Does the strength of one add to the strength of all? Does the weakness of one weaken the whole? Can the energy of one recreate the whole? Can the striving of one increase the potentiality of everything that is, and does this place great responsibility upon every consciousness?

“All of creation is sacred and alive, each part connected to each other part, and each communicating in a creative cooperative commerce in which the smallest and the largest are equally involved.” ~ Psychic Politics, The Codicils.

I know this is a real weird question but does not every religion preach tolerance towards another religion. If so, why do so many people judge people of another religion due to a small percentage of uncivilised people causing all the trouble?
