Heb 11:1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.

That verse just speaks to me and helps me keep faith when it is lacking.

Oh my nieces name is Zara!

It's late and I'm super tired so I forget my chapter numbers but I love the passage that says "love is patient, love is kind..."

Also, I find something new to uplift me every time I go through Psalms and Proverbs. Psalms in particular. That's the thing about the Bible...you never get tired of reading it!

The Bible encourages us, we learn from reading the Bible. The Bible is God's word, so it's like God is speaking to you. Every word on the Bible is uplifting and really motivating! =]

Try Philippians 2:
1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 11 is also very uplifting.

My favorite chapter of the bible has always been 1st Corinthians, chapter 13. All about the love of God.

actually everything, but personally, it's romans 8:28, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

whenever i feel like all else failed, i always remember this verse. for it reminds me that god's unfailing love for me and his undying faithfulness in my life will always prevail.

another verse is romans 8:37-39, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

this verse warms and melts my heart, proving that i am forever wrapped in god's arms of unafiling love and undying faithfulness.

lastly, jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

a verse proving god's perfect plan in our lives, that he has prepared the best plan for each and everyone of us.

god bless! =)
