"God" gave us a sense of humor, it only makes sense to use it. if we can't laugh about it, we usually end up fighting-so why doesn't culture encourage light teasing of religious beliefs- if believers are so sure of their faith it shouldn't be able to affect them anyway

Religion is a sensitive subject and some or I should say most become offended. Personally I couldn't care less and make fun of all religions. Some people have no sense of humor as you said.

Certainly, *I* believe that God has a great sense of humor. I believe that humor is one of God's gifts to us.
Why are some religions sensitive to "teasing"? Very good question.
Why do some religions resort to violence and killing?

You can make fun of mine if you want to. I don't mind, in fact I like a good joke. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a good sense of humor.

Simply bc religion is a serious topic. People have wars over religion, people take what they believe in VERY seriously. To make fun of someones beliefs is insensitive.

I'm strong enough in my religion that I an take a little teasing and I did say teasing, it's a different thing when someone is being insulting or rude'

Oh laugh at them anyway. Every time someone says something about their religion point a finger at them and hold your stomach and bend over and laugh heartily :). If you're quite sure you won't get lynched, that is. After all, no point laughing if it is going to be your last one, is there ;)?

Because is not right,as easy as that and maybe they have something personal agaist you,or they don't like you.lol.is just for respect to the others.If you want to make fun of religion at some point someone will be making fun of god is that what you want to happen Im not saying that you will,but someone will make fun of the real religion of the real god that is my point.mmmm make fun of me if that makes you happy,but don't let nobody make fun of god neither help to it.Thank you,god bless you and your family.

I have NO qualms about making fun of a religion that requires women to cover their faces and their entire bodies from head to toe. I think it's hilarious. Don't you?
