They seem like they're really fun! It's a pity I don't live too close to Fundamentalists here in Baltimore :(

Anyone planning to go to one this halloween?

A resounding "NO"!! I believe this type of horror is sick and twisted! To subject a child to this type of terror and tell them that it is real is the worst kind of abuse. I do not approve of these "Hell House" attractions that the churches put the children through.

To teach a child all it's life that hell is real and then to send them through a depiction of this on Halloween is truly twisted. What should be a harmless and fun holiday is turned into a nightmare for so many young people.

I have seen this done and it's terrible. When my husband and I pastored, I refused to allow this in our churches. I was so adamant about it that most of those in favor of it were forced to take another look at what they were doing.

If your church is planning one of these atrocities, please have the good sense to speak out against it. Or at least limit it to those 18 years of age and older....Blessings!

I don't agree with this method at all. You can't scare someone into Christianity. It's a choice on a much more personal level. I believe scare methods like these do more harm than actual good. Even though you scare someone for one night, and they repent, doesn't mean they actually let Jesus fully into their heart and will continue their Christian education and change their ways for good.
Besides Hell is much much worse than anything we "men" could ever depict. I do not think anyone on earth can fully comprehend the horrors and misery that await the unsaved that are left here after Jesus comes to take the Faithful home.
I pray for those who are lost.

Those are the creepiest things I've ever heard of. I'd like to go to one, and there are like 3 Assembly of God churches within walking distance from where I live, but I'm afraid they'll think I want to join their church.

I don't see how people get away with taking minors to these things. Isn't that mental abuse to tell kids if they don't follow this religion, all of these bad things will happen to you? These "hell houses" are so terribly, morally wrong!!!
