Now let's not generalize, with 38000 christian denominations who the hell is supposed to be able to keep track of who thinks god creates disasters and who doesn't?

I don't usually say that, but the idea behind it is that God knows everything that is ever going to happen, therefore even disasters and calamities are part of His plan. Is it easier to accept that a miracle of healing comes from the Almighty, but not a disaster? If you ever read about Job in the Bible, he was wealthy and very successful, yet God allowed tribulation into His life for a purpose. So yes, everything that happens is a part of His plan, good and bad.

I have declined answering questions due to the maturity level that we are plagued with on this site. I speak my opinion take it or leave it. I understand that I have offended many people within Q&A yet to call me at my home and threaten my life?
No that I will not tolerate. I am a devote Christian and have lived two completely opposite lives. The life of a Professional soldier and my reborn Christian life.
Have a beautiful day Miss.

I don't understand why God allows so much evil in the world. Someday we will understand—but not yet. But I do know this: Satan is responsible for the evil in the world, not God. The Bible says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him" (Psalm 34:8).
I also know that someday all the evil in our world will be destroyed, and Christ will reign in perfect justice and love. Are you ready for that day? You can be, by giving your life to Jesus Christ. He loves you—whether you realize it or not—and life's greatest joy comes from knowing Him.

Inane, ignorant. It's the stupid people who are responsible for bridge maintenance and those who fund such public services who are at fault. Do we think that if we defy the laws of physics -- weight on poorly maintained bridge with rusty, faulty support, etc. -- that we won't pay the price?
