i have not told my boyfriend yet that i am willing to convert.it's not just for him,i really do believe in the one god.but he will most probably get very mad at me if i tell him that i wish to convert,he will think i'm only doing it for him.he doesn't really like it when i try hard to learn about his religion,he doesn't want to be the reason for such a huge change in my life (esp since it's going to take me away from my own hindu family)...but i honestly want to be a Muslim. and i hopr his family accepts me.i love him,coz he showed me Islam..please advise me a little

I mean, if it's by their personal choice, and that's what's they want to do, why do some ppl critisise it? And say things like, I'd hate to be her and be made to wear that. I mean, if someone is making her wear it, I personally think that's wrong. Why do some ppl think all Muslim women are made to cover their heads?
But if it's her personal decision, why should it be critisised?
I'm not Muslim but I have a lot of Muslim friends.

Ever since world war two, what was once a widespread religious symbol indicating fortune and wellbeing has been associated with a heavily elitist ideology (or as most would put it: a hate-regime) and as such has been made heavily taboo across the known world.

Honestly though... is there no hope for the humble Swastika, effectively abused by the Nazis as it is?

What do you think it would take to clear it of this taint and restore it to its original context?
