that there are those christians who exibit prejudice against you for your religion, saying that since you dont worship their god you must worship satan
and then there are the "good" christians who dont judge, and accept you no matter what religion you are (an exeption maybe being satanist)
if christianity teaches the same values, then why are some christians more hateful, while others are kinder?

A real story of a Mother and her 11 year old daughter with their spirituality:

Mom: Lucy, come and have your dinner!

Lucy: Wait Mom, I haven't finished playing with Bobby.

Mom: Not again Lucy, aren't you too old to have imaginary friends? Now come and have your dinner

Lucy: Alright, but Bobby must also get his share.

Mom: That does it Lucy! This is getting way out of hand! Can you hear Bobby's voice? Can you see his body? So get over him already!

Lucy: But Mom, I have a personal relationship with Bobby. Yesterday I asked Bobby to help me out with my test at school, and I really passed! You wouldn't understand.

Yahoo creates a three month "trial" R&S forum that is COMPLETELY UNMODERATED. Anything goes, no violations, no suspensions.

It would not be a part of the real Yahoo! Answers. Only users above level two would be allowed to enter it, and you would only be allowed to post in one of the two R&S forums for the three month period. Once you choose, you will be barred from posting in the other (clean) forum.

How many users do you think will RUN (not walk) to the unmoderated forum?

Thus proving to Yahoo that what the USERS want is to be left to our own devices, and at the same time it would get all the undesirable out of their regular R&S, so they could have the nice, antiseptic, politically correct forum they "think" people want, and we can have the fun forum we ACTUALLY DO WANT.

Although I never was taught philosophy or have an idea about it. Does anyone wonder if GOD is really real. I mean think about it. Since the GREEKS had their gods, they believed that there was no one like him. Now we say the same thing about Christianity and other religions. I also do not believe in the stories, like Jonah was swallowed by a whale and survived, or Noah had 2 of every animal on his Ark. So you mean to tell me that the lions and tigers did not attack him.where is the space for the elephants. I don't undertand, can someone help me.

there is something more? I know there are many people that are athiest and what not, but do they seriously believe that there is nothing more out there to life? And when a family member or a friend of an athiest dies, do they remain athiest and honestly believe that their loved one is no longer in existence?
I am christian and just looking to see this perspective because I am just curious...

A Mormon woman from the pacific islands told me that her church teaches that her people, and American natives as well, came from Israel, and that she has darker skin because she was cursed by God.

I replied that DNA evidence shows that Polynesians and American natives migrated from Mongolia long before biblical times, that she has darker skin because her people have evolved a natural, healthy sun protection. I suggested she check the National Geographic website.

What will her church do? Will they rewrite their beliefs to match with scientific knowledge, or will they ignore the scientific evidence and continue teaching people that they are cursed?

I have you ever felt that this life gets too unbearable that you want to go home to the Lord?

I know that is selfish but this life on earth is too hard and too much hurt. I know God knows how I feel. I am so tired of getting my heart broken with men and my mother and sister, dealing with getting hurt with my teenage daughter, dealing with my insecurities which is a constant battle everyday. I just feel alone at this time even when I know I am not.
