Yes for one whole year I prayed that Jesus would take me home but Jesus helped me overcome when I thought it was impossible. If I did not love Jesus I would not be here talking to you right now .It will pass but it hurts like hell.

We are all human and have times we feel down but that`s when we need to pray. God never fails. Life is hard and some times you feel like you are over whelmed but this too will pass.God made us a promise that if we honored our father and mother that our days would be long on this earth that he has given us. One of the ten commandments. There is good ness out there or why would he make such a promise. There`s beauty all around us ,we just have to look passed the problems that keep us blinded.Tomorrow is a new and better day ,keep the faith.

You aren't alone, Paul was there too...
Phil 1:21 For me, life finds all of its meaning in Christ. Death also has its benefits.
22 Suppose I go on living in my body. Then I will be able to carry on my work. It will bear a lot of fruit. But what should I choose? I don’t know. 23 I can’t decide between the two. I long to leave this world and be with Christ. That is better by far.
24 But it is more important for you that I stay alive. 25 I’m sure of that. So I know I will remain with you. And I will continue with all of you to help you grow and be joyful in what you have been taught. 26 I’m sure I will be with you again. Then your joy in Christ Jesus will be greater than ever because of me.
27 No matter what happens, live in a way that brings honor to the good news about Christ. Then I will know that you stand firm with one purpose. I may come and see you or only hear about you. But I will know that you work together as one person. And I will know that you work to spread the teachings of the good news. (NIrV)

I know life can be hard, but just going home to the Lord is just like saying "isn't it easier to just give up?" If God wanted everything to be easy for us, He would've made everything perfect. But trials and errors build character (what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger).
And most importantly, it is in our times of trouble that we should rely on God the most (remember the footsteps in the sand poem?)
What would God think when you said "Oh, sorry, it was just getting too hard, I just wanted to throw in the towel and come home." Do you think He would appreciate the lack of effort? (Not, of course, that He will love you any less, but He did give us the gift of life for a reason.)
There are many difficulties in life, sometimes it seems like too many. But God can always be that light at the end of the tunnel, that silver lining, and though you may feel alone, you never truly are.
On a side note, if you're feeling this down and alone, I would suggest going to speak with someone. Maybe not a family member or even friend. Perhaps a pastor or someone you can open up with without feeling that it will complicate current relationships (sometimes its 100 times easier to speak with a stranger).
Don't give up. It only takes a single flame to banish a room of darkness.

If you feel that way, firstly, pray for strength and determination. Secondly, find a clergyman to talk to, personally. Getting out and talking to people is what you need. Do not rely on the internet for real, life specific answers. God loves you and wants you to have the best your life offers. I am not sure about the sinfulness of taking your own life, but it is, I am sure, not a good thing. People out there need you, they just may not show it so much. Be stronger than the negative forces in your life, pull loved ones close and talk! Talk to your family, the clergy, a counselor, just find someone to talk to.
God Loves You and so do I!

Hey it is Ok; Most Believers can Identify with what You are Saying; at times in their Life;I asked Myself , why am I Home Sick for Heaven ? I have never been there,but I am going that way;There are People around You that Need You,You are Needed ,doesn't that encourage You?God needs You right where You are,Think on that, David in Psalms ask they same thing of Himself, King Saul trying to kill Him, His own Sons wanted to Overthrow Him,But He Encouraged Himself in the Lord;You are not alone,Jesus and You are a Majority in any Situation,Lift up Those Hands that Hang down,Lift up Your voice now still, give unto God continous Praise, sing Forth from sion"s Hill;
You will confuse the devil,He thought He had stilled Your Voice;Smile it will make everyone wonder ,what haveYou been doing;?

We are all to be "looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" Titus 2:13. But above all we should strive to bring God glory here on earth while we can. Whenever I feel this way I stick in a Ray Boltz CD and listen to Until All Have Been Served. There is so much work that still needs to be done. My heart breaks thinking about all the people who are lost.

Yes!
I feel ya.
Unfortunately I'm down too and I don't have the words to say to make things better. But thank God He is bigger than the both of us and He'll get us through. I know sometimes it's hard to keep on, but I'll still pray for you. After all God does all of the work no matter what state we're in. All He asks us to do is come together, trust Him, and have faith as a grain of mustard seed.
Many blessings.

Yes I definitely do get that feeling, I often think it's all too hard and crawl up in a fetal ball trying to hide from the hurt of this world secretly hoping God will end my life so I can skip to eternity.
The Bible says people have and will feel this way ever since the curse in Genesis Ch3 where god puts a curse on men and women "I will greatly increase your pains" (specifically referring to the pain of child birth but the application is more general) this is continued in Romans 8 which I would highly recommend reading, practically relevant verses are 22 and 23 "We know the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the fistfuls of the spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies."
On a slightly different note it’s made clear in the bible especially in the language used in 1 Peter that as Christians we will feel alone in this world, we are just passing by, its not our permanent dwelling. 2:11 says we are 'aliens and strangers in this world' there are also various references to us being exiles etc.
But we can seek comfort in that Jesus knows what it's like to suffer; he understands what we're going through. Being a Christian was never meant to be easy, 1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, don't be surprised at the painful trail you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.'
Easier to say than do, I know. But everything we are going through is all part of God's master plan, he has it all in control, we need to try and put our trust in him.
I hope and pray Jesus will heal your broken heart, and give you strength to deal with your circumstances.
Love your sister in Christ,
Amelia.

Everyone gets overwhelmed at times. We just deal with it differently. The one thing I caution you against is, while you are feeling so alone, make sure you are staying around other Christians. If the enemy can actually make you alone when you are feeling alone, you are allowing him too much control over you, and he doesn't get to have ANY! He is a divider and separator of the body of Christ. Do not let him do that to you, emotionally or physically. Praise music is one of the key things that changes my spirit. I keep it going when I feel lonely. I CHOOSE daily not to let myself dwell in hurts and sorrows. I CHOOSE to change my atmosphere in my home. Let the devil know you are empowered by God and you are choosing HIM to be around!!
