Yahoo creates a three month "trial" R&S forum that is COMPLETELY UNMODERATED. Anything goes, no violations, no suspensions.
It would not be a part of the real Yahoo! Answers. Only users above level two would be allowed to enter it, and you would only be allowed to post in one of the two R&S forums for the three month period. Once you choose, you will be barred from posting in the other (clean) forum.
How many users do you think will RUN (not walk) to the unmoderated forum?
Thus proving to Yahoo that what the USERS want is to be left to our own devices, and at the same time it would get all the undesirable out of their regular R&S, so they could have the nice, antiseptic, politically correct forum they "think" people want, and we can have the fun forum we ACTUALLY DO WANT.
Now watch this question get reported/deleted for being off topic.

I'm there.
People often create their own forums on different venues just to have freedom of speech. I belong to one and I have to say the difference is astounding.
It's not totally unmoderated. Someone checks in periodically to remove child porn, etc, but otherwise no deletions.

faith, this is, a willingness to declare to "have self belief" that this is irrational and unprovable, is the reason of the subject concerns interior the region, and the greater non secular the guy (on the two factor) the greater probably they're to affix the project. on the tip of the day, if one team thinks that the international is controlled via the invisible unicorn and people who don't think in him are going to hell and the different team thinks the international is controlled via the invisible leprechaun and think of that the different adult males are going to hell, there will be inherent transformations. the respond is to advance up and recover from the grownup fairy tale this is faith.

It won't happen.
Yahoo isn't in the business of providing a forum - it is in the business of selling advertising and services. Advertisers won't pay for an unmoderated forum, and Yahoo! won't donate it.

Everyone like you would run to that forum I suggest that you do that because those of us who are seriously here to discuss real issues will stay here and all of you who are just here to make fun will run the other way good Ideal though try it we'd be all for that!

That's a good idea... It would be interesting to see if anyone would stay on the regular forum.

Since I have never seen a swear-word before, I don't know if I would be able to recognize one if I saw it. Thus, I will stay here, where it is safe.
Also, I don't like to think new ideas, or be exposed to the whole spectrum of modes of communication (sarcasm, hyperbole, absurdism, etc.)

I couldn't agree with you more. Bring it on! I bite my tongue a lot of times because I've been given one violation for answering an atheist with the same sarcasm he used in his "question" rant. I'd love it.

I don't really "participate" here, but yes, it would be an interesting idea. I don't think yahoo would implement such an idea without a way to keep out the kiddies.

sounds like the titillating thrill of going to your first R movie.
I'm so there. First thing I want to do is be able to type the "a" word and the "f" word without having to resort to deliberate misspellings to get around Mother Goose
