...you've ever seen a person do in public? Due to rising gas prices, well that and the fact that I don't own a car, I use public transportation to get me to work and back. Anyway, I was on the bus this morning when I happened to notice this girl who looked no more than 20, reading a book. I couldn't help but chuckle when I looked at its spine and saw the title, "G-Spot." One would think that she would want to read something like that in the privacy of her own home. Anyway, this WASN'T the most outrageous thing I've ever seen a person do in public, but it was fresh in my mind. Okay, R&S regulars, I wanna hear your experiences!

on how to treat a disease, does that change the fact that one way is most likely superior to the other?

Why can this be the case, yet when discussing moral issues, many people cannot imagine one moral code being superior to another without appealing to a Supreme Law-Giver?

(you know, like when the characters are being introduced and they're partaking in some kind of activity, but then stop to pose for the camera while their name is plastered under their head or whatever), what kind of thing would YOU be doing?

I'd be petting a white pony, and then would stop to acknowledge the camera by cocking my head to the side slightly, flashing the big cheese, and pullin the ol' double gun point. Ahhhh, I'd be SO money with that kind of intro.

why are the charismatics (i.e. Pentecostal) the only ones that he chooses to knock down / paralize and/ or induce seizures in, as well as causing them to babble incoherently? I have heard some conservative factions credit Satan for this behaviour. I find it confusing. What say you?

United States and although not a Religion, they rank #4 in size when comparing to the Major Religions.) You never hear of them gathering in the streets rioting, burning flags of other Countries or demanding the death of a Country's leaders. Does this mean Atheists, Agnostics and Other Non-Believers are more Peaceful and Law Abiding?

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

3 days ago a question:-"Which Chakra do you find to be most active?"

I answered, quoting a verse of sri.Sankaracharya:-"Kscitau Sat Panchasadvi--"and asked the questioner "Why do you people waste your time, misunderstanding the subject by reading 'CheapTanslations' and talking -root,heart,eye chakras etc?" Translating Moolaadharam as root,Vishukthi( heart) Aagjnaa( eye) are totally wrong and irresposible- a Mockery of the concepts of Hindu Religion, bruising the sentiments of Hindus.I received an e-mail- " my answer has been DELETED because of "Violation!!"- what was "Violation", in defending my religious concepts? The Chakrams enumerated above are Abstract Religious concepts. The question looks just as asking "what ice cream you ate today ?" It is an insult to Hindus.October,11,2007 (Thursday) Navarathri starts-Thousands of Hhindu Ladies will perform Sri.CHAKRAM, MERU,Navaavaranam,Lalitha Sahasranamam pooja--who will be very upset that their belief on CHAKRAMS is being mocked at.

I am one “unnaturally born” into Christianity – and although I do attend a specific church, at heart I am neither a Catholic nor a Protestant. I am a Christian who burns for the glory of the Lord, driven by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Gospel of the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ in love, and search out truth to teach others so that they, too, may be saved and grow in their knowledge and understanding of the LORD, so as to worship and honor and serve and obey Him as we ought, all to the end of His glory.

Justification is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

This was the “battle cry” that led to the reformation and resultant fragmentation of the Christian church.

BUT NOW, I behold the “Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification” as another answerer posted a link to this for me to be enlightened:

You know how easy it is to induce hallucination, so what makes you think your conviction that God exists isn't a similar situation. Maybe those feelings you have aren't based in reality either.

I know Atheism only means you do not believe, in the existence of dietys or a diety.

If someone wanted to make a project with an Atheistic theme, would you be interested?

What would you say encapsulates it. Building? Monument? Machine?

I know many of you will think it doesnt need a monument, so please say so.

it's had being a Christian myself when it seems that all we do as a religion is judge others, we are quick to point out others' sins and repremand them for it.

Is not this site called Yahoo Answers, not Yahoo Agree with me.
I was wondering if someone asks a question about God they can expect to get as many different vantage points as the stars are numbered. Why then do people take it personally, i mean, how can one accuse another of spreading lies, if anyone wants the truth isnt it their responsibility to seperate the wheat for the tares?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhnivffOKv4&eurl=This is a great video for all to watch and take heed

Wake up... wake up all those who are blind...

Matthew 16:2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites![a] You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet[b] Jonah.” And He left them and departed.

Thoughts?

Why can't our Government see that this is dangerously wrong-evil in my view.? But I would appreciate your views very much. Just one other point. I do believe that life is Sacred-a gift from God. I would appreciate your views on this too. Please give thoughtful polite answers. I know I used to be resentful(silently) of Christians before I became one myself.

Your lips say "I forgive," but your heart cries out for vengeance: don't you know that you are mocking God by word and deed and are falling under the verdict of devine justice according to which "God is not mocked"? Come to your senses, people and forgive so that you can boldly say the Our Father or, if you choose not to forgive, know that you are unworthy of this prayer. There is no middle ground.
