Why can't our Government see that this is dangerously wrong-evil in my view.? But I would appreciate your views very much. Just one other point. I do believe that life is Sacred-a gift from God. I would appreciate your views on this too. Please give thoughtful polite answers. I know I used to be resentful(silently) of Christians before I became one myself.

Wow that is scary. Really, really scary! I am uninformed on this one so I don't even know what they are harvesting them for. I think life is a precious gift...I am not a Christian but I think it is the most beautiful gift in the world.

I don't resent Christians, but I do resent pushing your morality into laws.

Life is good, but not sacred. While we should work to preserve life, death and change are still part of it.

The whole point of mixing genes is to avoid using fertilized humans for stem cell research, which is very necessary and may help cure many of those living or yet to be born. Oh and it's not in human embryos.

If it's "wrong-evil" in your view, then tell them so.

Genetic science has a great potential to cure (or at least shed more light upon) many insidious diseases. I think it's totally hypocritical that many Christians, including our president, "believe that life is Sacred-a gift from God."

Over the years, many people have died violent, horrible deaths in the name of religion, particularly Christianity. Bush thinks this way too, but has no problem with the countless thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who have died because of his war.

i'm slightly torn in this project. on the only hand , i can completely see the advantages. The study would nicely be utilized to treatment quite some ailments. they might do quite some stable issues. on the different hand, its style of creepy. definite, i understand its says that that's going to be destroyed after 14 days, yet what occurs if some guy decides that that's going to be greater perfect to attend purely 2 greater weeks, 6 weeks, or longer. i'm professional-selection. i'm centred on stem cellular study. I purely relatively wish that this is heavily monitored. i actually do no longer decide to make certain any actual "Island of Dr. Moreau" stuff going on available.

So your a Christian? You know, more people have been killed in the name of your religion than any other? Just thought you should know that. As far as the government doing this kinda stuff, that just shows their stupidity, they wont let scientists work on stem cells that could save lives, but they can mix and match people and animals for amusement purposes.

Who the F*** is the "government" to say weather it's right or wrong in the first place? Isn't that worse than playing god?

No gift, no gift giver.

Next, it is evil because of the level of irresponsibility. Our understanding of genetics is infantile, yet we tinker with it as if there will be no consequences.

galileo was also called evil by fundies at times when he defined orbits

and today cz of him, we have satellites in orbit, and you're able to post this question from comfort of ur room......

so stop whining and allow science to do good for us, far better than ur always-moaning churches and their crusading agendas
