Why does the Catholic Church teach that Salvation is only through them. Doesnt this fly right in the face of the Bible? Particularly John 14:6, when it says the Jesus Christ is the only way?

Do the Catholics stay with the church because they are in fear of the organization, instead having fear of God?

How can an organization save you?

Yes, indeed. The Bible is frightening in many places.
…Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:30-31)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge… (Proverbs 1:7)
…but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. (Isaiah 66:2)

What kind of question is that? Is Hell real?

Yes, it is. God’s Word, the Bible, discusses God’s judgment and eternal Hell from beginning to end. In fact, the Bible tells us that most people who have ever lived will be there.
The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalm 9:17)
And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching…(Matthew 4:23)… Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

16"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

17"So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

18"A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

19"Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20"So then, you will know them by their fruits.
---------

24"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.

26"Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

27"The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell--and great was its fall."

Ok, I really hate the fact I am posting this question as I know you guys get quesitons like this all the time; so no drinking on me! However, I have to know. I know the big bang theory is the most widely believed to be fact as far as how we started, but what is your belief/scientific basis for how the big bang came to happen? I am not anti-evolution, but I cant see all of this starting without some sort of design. Thanks in advance.

"A vow is a deliberate and free promise made to God concerning a possible and better good which must be fulfilled by reason of the virtue of religion," A vow is an act of devotion in which the Christian dedicates himself to God or promises him some good work. By fulfilling his vows he renders to God what has been promised and consecrated to Him.

I have a problem. I want to take a vow of chastity in order to achieve purity of heart. but i can't let go of my human passions and sexual desires easily. I know when you make a vow, you bind yourself to your word, and god blesses you more for your efforts, and chastises you more for your sins against your vow.

But when I consider how vulnerable i am to my sexual fantasies, pervertedness, and how prevalent immorality and concupiscence is in society, the media etc, I am afraid. I like to break the rules sometimes and this is what i am afraid of. Yes i will have the saints to imitate in their zeal, but I know myself, and pray to hate sin.

I was raised in science and in religion,as I have gotten older and opened my own eyes to things, I have yet seen proof of Religion of any kind. Science has shown proof of alot and as technology allows more things are becoming more clear.
The answer for science is proof, the answer for religion is faith.
How do you live your everyday life, giving so much to something that you have never been shown proof of,most of your so called proof is actually scientifically based. You have one thing to go by and that is the Bible that you say teaches you all that you need to know about your religion and your faith of your existence, how do you grow in your knowledge from reading the same text over and over. Thats why i think the Bible was meant for crowd control by its writers of the time. It spread throughout by divide and conquer in those days, now you have many religions and many gods, all saying theirs is the one.Prove It. Science for education,Religion for crowd control. My opinion--

I'm fed up with the lack of understanding in this matter.
1) Pedophelia is not the problem in the Church. Sine 98% of these reported (yet unproven) cases took place with boys who were early teens, the real problem is homosexuality. So, we cannont solve the problem unless we know what the problem is. Its homosexuality, NOT pedophelia. (it is still bad, but it is not the same.)

2) You would never know about this because the media portrayed it wrongly. You see, the media PROMOTES homosexality as an alternative lifestyle, so they could not say that homosexality was the problem, lest they show themselves as the hypocrites they are. But, pedophelia was guarenteed to arouse anger, and since the media hates the Church, that is how they reported it.

3) However, on the topic of pedophilia: The highest rate of pedophilia crimes happen within families (step-fathers, uncles, etc.). So those who try to connect it with celibacy make a poor case.

Suppose Jim is a saved born again Christian. Jim dies and goes to be with the Lord. Jim was generous in that he left behind his body's organs for donation to people who need them.

Jack is not saved, does not know God and has clearly rejected God's plan of salvation. Jack is in need of a heart transplant. Jim's heart is a perfect match. Jack get's Jim's heart.

Lets say that the rapture happens before the tribulation. Will the transplanted heart in Jack's body be raptured, or stay with Jack?
