Why does the Catholic Church teach that Salvation is only through them. Doesnt this fly right in the face of the Bible? Particularly John 14:6, when it says the Jesus Christ is the only way?
Do the Catholics stay with the church because they are in fear of the organization, instead having fear of God?
How can an organization save you?

I am amazed at some of you who do not know your own doctirne who belong to the Catholic church. This is the first time you are hearing this saying "There is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church?".
Thing about if, if you leave, they claim you will go to hell. Even if you are "Saved" "Born-again", no matter what, according to their dogma, you are doomed to hell.
Now someone like myself who has been enlighted by God with understanding, does not fear man made religons, and I left knowing full well of this doctrine. It didnt scare me then, nor does it now.

Catholicism is a cult. No matter what anyone tells you, or shows you, the truth of the catholic cult is evident in what they teach their own people. They teach a false gospel of works.

Yes, they hope the faithful will support the church as best they can. The Roman Catholic Church is the biggest private charity in the world and the USA. They don't get that way from no one donating money to continue the good works of the church. On the other hand, they do not look at your IRS statements like the Mormons do. If you are Mormon, you better give at least 10 percent. No temple recommend or benefits if you do not. They will hound you. The Catholic Church also teaches there are going to be times where you cannot afford a penny as you need to care for your family and pay your mortgage. They understand this stuff.

The catholic Church saves because the Catholic Church is the body of Christ with Jesus Christ as the head of the Body.
The Catholic Church saves because Jesus saves and you cannot separate Jesus from the Catholic Church.
Quoting from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"Outside the Church there is no salvation"
How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers? Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:
Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.
Poor, Theotokos, you have things backwards. It is Christ who gave us the Church. Without God, there is no Church.

Jesus Christ gave us the Church as the exclusive means by which we become united to Him through the sacraments, which allow us to grow in holiness, and give us the best chance for salvation. Those outside the Church are, objectively speaking, in a spiritually deficient condition, although they can still be saved by Christ. But the Church gives us the totality of the means of salvation through Christ and His Eucharistic sacrifice, which the Church celebrates from the rising of the sun to its setting. The Church is the sacrament of salvation. Regularly receiving the sacraments that Christ instituted is the way that Jesus has set the whole thing up. Confession is the normative way that God forgives sins. The Eucharist is the greatest gift God has given to us this side of heaven - because it is Jesus Christ Himself. It is only in the Church where we eat His body and drink His blood as Jesus commanded us.
You cannot receive these sacraments outside the Church where there is no valid priesthood. The Catholic Church is the bride of Christ, and we are adopted sons of the Father in Christ through His bride, the Church. You are right to say this is also a matter of faith. The Church is supernatural, not just a human institution. That is why the Church is an article of faith

Most Christian denominations believe that each of them is the fullest version of the Church of Christ.
While the Catholic Church also believes that she is "the highest exemplar" of the mystery that is the Church of Christ, she does not claim that non-Catholic Churches are not truly Christian. The Catholic Church teaches:
Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.
Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.
All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 819: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt3art9p3.htm#819
With love in Christ.

It is you who are mistaken about Catholic beliefs.
Don't you realize EVERY BAPTIZED CHRISTIAN, Catholic or otherwise, is a member of the Catholic Church?
Catholic Christians are direct members of Christ's True Church, whereas non-Catholic Christians are members, albeit indirectly, by virtue of having received the Sacrament of Baptism.
Christ came to, among other things, establish His Church on earth; His Kingdom on earth. Non-Catholic Christians who say "yes" to God but "no" to the Catholic Church are, in essence saying "yes" to God but "no" to God's Kingdom.
If one says "no" to Christ's Kingdom on earth, how does that translate into a "yes" for Christ's Kingdom in Heaven?
It seems to me your personal brand of Christianity is an attempt to have your cake and eat it too. You can't have it both ways.
Those who recognize this MUST say "yes" to his Kingdom on earth. If they recognize the Catholic Church as His Kingdom on earth - and still say "no", how can such a person be saved?
Those who do not recognize the Catholic Church as His Kingdom on earth, can still be saved on account of invincable ignorance. Note: Invicable ignorance is not the same thing as invincable arrogance (not calling you arrogant).

Catholics don't teach that. Much of what people believe to be true about Catholicism is not. Yes the Catholic church has some problems but this is not one of them.

ALL priests, reverends, ministers etc. like people to think that they have some special connection to 'God'. That somehow THEY are the messengers of truth. All of them want their followers to believe this, and some of them actually believe it themselves! This also goes for the institutions. The churches ALL want you to believe that church is necessary, otherwise they're out of work. The only thing YOU need to be 'saved' from is ignorance and self-deception. NO ONE and NO organization and NO book has a lock on 'truth'. If you believe one does, you're fooling yourself.

You are either anothe one of the lovely hate filled people on answers, or someone with honest questions who has been lied to by their pastor.
this should answer your questions:

Just because some people can't answer your questions doesn't mean their religion is wrong.
