Wow - the resistence to this concept in these answers is overwhelming. Remember, yahoo! answers is a place to help people with questions, not tear down new ideas.
The real answer is - yes, there does a exist a national secular summer camp organization. It's called Camp Quest. They don't "indoctrinate atheism" but rather emphasize critical thinking and analysis skills, and teach campers how to develop their own ideas.
This is different from science camps or space camps. Those are science and space camps. Remember - science and religion are not antithetical concepts.

I hadn't either. While I like the idea of a camp where religion isn't allowed I wouldn't like the idea where they're actively trying to make kids atheists. And I'm an atheist. I just think that people shouldn't force feed either down kids throats.
And yes it's difficult for anyone to argue that religious camps are not force feeding religious beliefs to kids. But at least in the US and for now parents are allowed to teach their kids whatever they like even religious indoctrination.

Sure - why not have a kid's program that doesn't try to program them into a dogmatic view of life? How about a camp where they can have fun, meet new friends, get some exercise and fresh air, learn new skills, and do something totally different from their regular summertime routine?

Um... on condition that they are open to this variety of vast substitute in ideology. in any different case i think of it may purely weird and wonderful them out. i'm uncertain those camps are continually stable for Christian little ones. Sending a teenager who claims no perception in any god to such an extreme putting would desire to be a sprint overwhelming. infant steps are not continually undesirable.

Hmmmm. Well i don't think atheism needs to be indoctrinated into a child's mind. Atheism isn't a doctrine. It would be an intenable contradiction.

I sure hope there isn't an athiest teen camp!
If there truly is, maybe there is a "going to hell" teen camp too.
I'll be praying for you and the person that referred to such a horrible thing!
