You are in the wrong church, for any body that is a true christian you are going to see the Love of God and christ like attitude, they are people in true relationship with Jesus, other than that yes you are going to get religious people that have an outward appearance of Godliness and ,and change like the weather, there is a differance between religious people and people that are in relationship . We are all on Gods surgery table so in my opion who is your relationship with Jesus or people and why would you care what people say they do not validate who you are,and thats no reason to stop going to church just move your seat.

There is a church, within the church beloved. The church building is full of sin sick people who may not be 'healed' yet. They are willing to admit that they are sick though. The people in the church are at least feigning to go in the right direction. Despite their own failings, they just might stumble and fall in love with God and live a holy life.

Read Psalms 1...it applies to believers and unbelievers alike.

There's a lot of work to be done.
Did you know that in the average church, 20% of the people are doing all of the work? The other 80% just sit.

Churches are not supposed to be "country clubs" for perfect people. They are supposed to be hospitals where people who are sick, injured or damaged by life and sin can come and be nursed back to health by other people who have been through the wars of life themselves.

depends on what "standards" you are basing your judgments.... if you go by the bars standards you will find many who are of "quality" by the bars standard... but if you go by The Church's(and there is only One Church) you will not find many at all in the bar... and you also will find that not all who are in the "churches" come very close to meeting The Churches standards... the gathering places for those who seek God are full of those who do not meet God's "standards".... but it is better that they are in "church" than in the bar... at least those in the "churches" have a better chance of ending up in a place that is a whole lot better than most who sit in the bar will end up in.

I agree with you. I am a church goer and I have been burned by more people that I go to church with than people that I work with that don't go to church.

A "dear" sister of mine ruined my life because I trusted her not to go mouthing what I tell her. Turns out it was a shame on me because I told her. Not shame on her for not being the trust-worthy person I thought she was. She was a singer in our church band and supposed to be a leader.

On the other hand, I work with 2 women that don't go to church and I have told them more than anyone about me and they haven't said anything to anyone.

If we were perfect, we wouldn't need to go to church. Church is for people who need help and healing. I agree there is a lot of hipocrisy in the world, but good will win in the end.

Well yeah kinda...

I think it's because people growing up in the Church are so used to their religion that they lose interest in it and take it for granted.

They're not necessarily bad people though.

Better quality people. Excuse me, and you are?

Churches are for sinners. Jesus did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but those who are lost and in need.

Let me know where you go to church, I'll make sure and not bring my imperfect, flawed self there.

I have met good and bad everywhere. If anyone has a place where only the good gather..let me know..but then maybe they wouldn't let me in.
