The numbers 3 and 8 were changed from their original Arabic characters around 1800 years ago. This is also interesting: Early Pagans -- fertility cult worshipers were often persecuted for their beliefs-- mainly because they worshipped a femal deity equal to that of a male-- this was anti the existing Patriarchal order. They also recognized the planet Venus-- it is the only star found to date that moves in such a way as to trace a geometric pattern-- the five pointed star... which is interestingly enough, shaped somewhat like our hands. The star moves from morning to evening star every 8 years-- BINGO!! Now we begin to see more clearly the hacker conspiracy. The phases of morning/evening star represent the male/female dual deity... as do the hands... as do the #'s 3 and 8. Remember that 3 and 8 fall on the MIDDLE fingers in the sequential count from baby finger to baby finger. This is a poignant clue as well, and there is a message. Hint: middle is also meridian... Merovingian.

In today's fast paced & hi-tech world, other Catholics would rather do something else than spend an hour to hear Holy Mass. More and more people are becoming too lazy to go to Mass. Others are in the Church but their hearts & minds are somewhere else. Only physically present, but very busy thinking of something else.

Maybe it's because the Holy Mass for some Catholics is just another duty they have to perform. They feel they have no real interaction with the priest. What do you think should be changed in the format of the Holy Mass?

The God loves each and everyone individually. He/She is longing for us to find the one who created them and loves them so much. The God knows everyone desires and dreams and is willing to fulfill your every desire is you simply ask and rely on this God. The God is not picky on whom the person should be, in fact, the God wants you to be comfortable with yourself. This God is for everyone, no matter who you are. Doesn't remember your faults, and is always for you no matter what. The God really cares for you, more than anything else in the world. And would never under any circumstance want or desire to harm you. gives you happiness and never asks for anything but for you love.

I think it was in "Huck Finn", but I'm not sure now. I remember it to this day because it struck me as so right. I welcome your thoughts on how it applies to morality and spirituality/religion.

A little background. I think it's when Huck is helping Jim escape to the north and is worried about the illegality of his actions he thinks,

"Sometimes a man just has to forget his principles and do what he knows is right."

In a recent post, one man said: "Saints is misconstruded by the Catholic church. According to the Bible all true believers in Christ are saints."

I think he, and many people here, don't understand the difference between a saint and a "canonized" saint. When the Church canonizes a saint (as it canonized the Bible), the Church is saying that we know this person is in heaven and they are worthy of veneration: They are a friend of God and behold the face of God. There are billions of saints we don't know about, but we DO know about the canonized ones.
Catholics and protestants suffer from a language barrier. We are not as apart as many think, but we use different terms to describe the same things, and this can lead to unwarranted disagreements.
Oh, I need to make this a question before a troll reports me. Will you please read this link,
http://www.catholic.com/library/Praying_to_the_Saints.asp
...and tell me what you think? Or do you have comments on what I said?
God bless you all

them, so that they miss the point of the question entirely?
Is the problem that they are still reacting as they did in the days when their mommies and daddies tried to explain something to them, or were they just coddled in school?
For example, some of America's characteristics were discussed in a question, and the answer was "What racism, what pornograpy, what gun violence? Give me an example!"
I won't tell you what he called me for mentioning these items, but the point is that he didn't even come close to getting the point of the question, so the question was completely wasted
on him. Fortunately, I find that approximately one out of ten Americans understands the question, and it is a real pleasure to get his feedback. What catastrophe happened to the other nine when they should have been growing up and learning to understand the point of a question without retreating into insults and unnecessary self-defense?

Doesn't his sound like a leader of a gang of thugs out to steel people's horses?

"As they came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead. "Go into that village over there," he told them, "and as you enter it, you will see a colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, 'The Lord needs it.'" So they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said. And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, "Why are you untying our colt?" And the disciples simply replied, "The Lord needs it." So they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for him to ride on." (Luke 19:29-35)

i am born and raised as a christian. i started going to church at 3 up until i was 15. i guess i never really understood what it takes to be a christian, but i believe in that one God.

three years ago i was faced with a difficult situation that sent my self-esteem to ground zero and since then i had issue with trust and became anti-social for nearly two years. it is not as bad now because i live with a group of lovely people. but i still avoid people if i could. since then my life has gone downhill, i almost failed university, lost all my friends, and remained unemployed since finishing uni a year ago. i have chosen to avoid problems than to face and solve them. in other words, it is hard to get on with life. i have hit rock bottom.

like a lot of people, i tried going back to church. many times, all of which didnt last long. im not used to friendliness of church goer anymore. im not used to being with people anymore. i prefer to pray at my own time at my own pace. when im alone

I was having a conversation with Jesus the other day, in the context of my personal relationship with him, and he said that America needs to pre-emptively nuke Iran. He said that the only thing those sand dwellers understand is violence, so we need to nuke a population center.

What do you guys think about this divinely inspired fact?

(Note: Do not argue the merits of this fact. Jesus told me, so it must be true.)

Recently I've been wondering if I'm experiencing a religious vocation. I've been praying about it and waiting to see what happens. Last night at the Festival of Praise (which was bloody awsome) I was drawn to the nuns. While standing/sitting/kneeling and praying, praising and worshiping God I wanted to be near them. Not even talk to them, just be around them while I was praising God.

I think that might have been the answer to my question, but Im not sure. This summer I'll be living amoungst nuns, do you think Ill know then if not now?

Why is it the stories in the Bible look like the common vampire myths?
Lilith, Adams first wife was a vampire known as the "night hag".
Christ says this is my blood 'Drink' ( I know this is wine but just the same it's still said.)
The cross on which he was nailed to was the same wood used on suspected vampires as was the crown of thorns.
The wood used was aspen for the cross and Hawthorn for the crown.
The spear he recieved into his side puncturing his lung ( This fluid was present on the Shroud of Turin).
They could have been trying to spear his heart. (Not probable but it could be possible, you can't say for sure). Then you get him offering people with eternal life if you give yourself over to him. Then you have blood rituals and even virgins (you must remain a virgin before you get married).

This is just a hypotetical question. I do not believe in vampires.

Maybe he could have been one know one knows for sure as the Bible was re-written and edited. Could it be possible?

There seems to be thousands of different "literal" interpretations of the Bible and they all disagree with each other. Isn't this evidence that God's word is vague and open to interpretation?
