It has nothing to do with the bible. The asker believes something different. Open your mind and your heart and accept that everyone has their own personal belief. Who can really say what is right or wrong?
Regarding the question, I don't know the answer; it isn`t what I believe. I understand from reading things that reincarnation in some religions (hindu maybe?) is thought of a way in which souls are given the opportunity to achieve perfection and to make up for past imperfections (errors or faulty behavior maybe?). After achieving this "perfection" (for lack of a better word) the soul is separated from the earthly material realm and united with god. Does this sound like what you want to know?

Souls that reach their highest spiritual evolution have just as much freedom as others. They can decide to be reincarnated or they can become teachers, messengers, or rise to the source of creation. Or they can enjoy their afterlife without disrupting earthly affairs.
Either way, regardless of a physical body, spiritual bodies are free to travel throughout the Universe. Wise souls contribute to Creation and help other develop as well.

Even Jesus believed in reincarnation "unless a man be born again". You can find other verses through a web search.
There is really no way of knowing for sure by using our human brains, but I believe the soul may benefit through experiences in other dimensions and other parts of the universe.

We believe that the soul reincarnates, but maye not back to this world. Their are at least nine dimensional worlds that we know of, and one more is due to be created at Ragnarok.

A person is reincarnated until they reach enlightenment that allows them to ascend as a master or stay behind and help others ascend. Who knows what happens in the afterlife? I have my doubts about reincarnation as much as I do about Christianity and any other revealed religion.

I used to KNOW that reincarnation was the only answer for life that it being the ONLY way anyone could ever get to a "state" or "place" they needed to be spiritually.
That was BEFORE I truly was born again and received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and the Lord over my life. God the Father looks to HIM as my delegate and since He is my Lord, I get to claim ALL His exploits, ALL His supernatural abilities, ALL His victories AS MY OWN. That is why we needed a Savior and champion! No one created can arrive to acceptance by their own works. The children of Adam are defiled from their father and the only remedy is to accept God's WAY of redemption/salvation for our "fall" from our original intent. Then we are restored. We don't need to "come back for anything".
Reincarnation is a resolution devised by those who do not know God's plan and it answers to mental reasoning, which is absurd in the plan of God for you and me.
When Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, mine were included. When I accept Jesus' death for me, it becomes MY death and when I accept the truth that Jesus (being innocent of sin) arose from the dead, it was MY resurrection and it is written in the books of life that I defeated the devil and I am forever counted as victorious and my earthly actions do NOT save me or condemn me. I am a "joint-heir" with Jesus and all that is His is MINE!

Ya know what Pixie....I am getting darn tired of people on here not respecting others' beliefs. My belief is that when you hit that highest level of growth, you become one with the Source and just absorb into the light with no desire to return. Read Deepak Chopra.....How to Know God.....awesome book....really explains different levels of spirituality....will bring you a great understanding of reincarnation.
Be blessed Pixie and ignore the many narrow minded answers you are going to receive....just as I am going to ignore the millions of thumbs down I expect to receive.

Jesus taught resurrection.
To be resurrected, one must first be dead, since resurrection means "re-making".
Re-incarnation is based on the immortality of the soul.
If the soul doesn't die, you don't need to re-make it.
