my state of mind (clear), being able to communicate 24/7 with God without any restrictions because I live in the United States!

Every night before our 12 year old goes to bed - we have a gratitude prayer. We are usually grateful for family time, good meals, laughter, career and school successes - and those types of things. But I know that I am also grateful for a heated home with running water - enough food, everyday - and my health. I feel very blessed and grateful just to have the basics. The other stuff is gravy.

I am giving thanks for life, family, a roof over my head, health, job,thanks for Jesus, God and his loving kindness, grace and mercy. I am giving thanks because God continues to bless me and keep me safe even when I do not deserve it. He is Awesome!!
