I was having a conversation with Jesus the other day, in the context of my personal relationship with him, and he said that America needs to pre-emptively nuke Iran. He said that the only thing those sand dwellers understand is violence, so we need to nuke a population center.

What do you guys think about this divinely inspired fact?

(Note: Do not argue the merits of this fact. Jesus told me, so it must be true.)

No, we shouldn't, I don't care what your Savior says...think about it for a second.

There are a lot of innocent people living there, why would your God want to kill them? To prove a point? Hasn't that already happened? (Job)

Why would your God want to go back to how he was in the OT? (Violent and bloodthirsty)

You're a warmonger if you're going to use your faith as an excuse to commit horrible acts! (Just like what some Christan's do when it comes to wars/etc.)

If you're serious (Can't tell with the note...) then you make me sick...

Well my first question is how can you be sure that it was Jesus who told you this? How can you tell it really was divinely inspired?

Was it in a dream or a feeling you had in your heart?

The Bible says in Matthew 15:19 "For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander." and Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked..." so scripture is warnign us that our heart and our thoughts are not trustworthy and can deceive us.

Did you hear a voice or see an apparition?

The Bible warns against false Christs and points out that even the devil can disguise himself as an angel of light and fool just about anybody.

The Bible therefore says to test the spirits and see if they are of God and the way you tell is you check what they are saying against what the Bible says.

If the voice says something that is contrary to scripture then it's NOT from God and should not be listened to.

If it's fully in harmony with scripture then it's possible that it is from God because HE will not contradict Himself or His word, but even if you are mistaken and it was just your imagination, as long as you follow the teachings and example of Jesus as revealed in the Bible then at the very least you will do no harm to anyone.

And with that in mind, you know as well as I do that Jesus would NEVER tell you to nuke anyone.

The difference between Christianity and other faiths is that in other faiths God requires You to send Your son to die for Him, but in Christianity God sent His Son to die for you!

Let's say Jesus did tell you this. Why wouldn't he tell someone who has control of US nukes? Why didn't he tell Bush or someone high up in the military. Instead he told you??? He'll might as well tell me to go find Osama. When your sitting at home tripping off acid, you're not hearing Jesus, it's just your own subconscience. ...the hallucinations are not real either.

That's odd. I had Jesus over yesterday for scones and some Lawn Darts and he commented that we really need to love our neighbors, as he proceeded to clobbered me in the game.

Either you have the brain and heart of Judas Iscariot or you are Satan there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY Jesus would vote for killing ANY human. He died in the cross to save all humans
from the fires of Hell and now you come saying that. What kind of a devil are you.He died for you and you come saying lies about him.i feel ashamed of you.

Jesus would never tell some one to commit mass murder like that. you most either have a strong relationship with Satan or you need to lay off the drugs.
