Do you think God needs a break? People always asking him/her/its for petty things, killing in his/her/its name, him/her/its responding to so many names (that must be confusing...), people putting word and false meanings into God's words (most of which are not God's to begin with) - its all got to take a toll...

Or did God already take a walk and never came back... Is that why their are genocides, wars, crusades, and Nickleback.... Or is it hard to take a walk when you don't exist?

Ponder my fiends....

I do prefer to listen from people who have read his books, rather than from people who foolishily pick wrong concepts about Him from wrong sources.

I say this because, there are people who have not yet read a single book about Him, but speak volumes against Him!!

There is a certain Y!A R&S regular who likes to send rambling emails to those who disagree with him. He has finally bestowed upon me a nickname: Evil and Blind One. granted, it doesn't have the same coolness factor as Vile Temptress or Incarnatrix of Evil, but I'll take what I can get.

Have you been given a hate-mail moniker? Do share!

I mean, are you playing a game of entrapment or trying to convert. I think one thing can be agreed upon " You have different views". To debate these difference's is the height of insanity. Catholic's believe Jesus was the son of god and Muslim's believe he was a prophet. Can you agree that you are a human being's with a sphychomatic complex that is no different from any other person no matter what spiritual belief you have? Do you understand that you are the same computer system's that work of a programme called EGO that give's you the illusion of individuality? We all react exactly the same except the triggers(stimulus) are different. If your belief in your god empowers you, then why do you question other religion's and try to analyze it under the guise of " Hey, im just trying to understand." Whether god exist's or does not you seem to have forgotten that you are human and any sense of a higher power is useful only to the self.

Until the discovery the texts of Ugarit in 1929 and following years, one could deny the existence of the Asherah Goddess, in the Bible and certain researchers identified it by error as being Astaroth/Astarté. Today, not only it seems a principal Goddess in the texts of Ugarit, but it is clearly identified in the Bible, in spite of the repression exerted by the official religion. Many archaeological texts found in the south of Israel reveal a notable relation with YHWH.
The discovery of earthenware jars and steles carrying inscription “To Iahvé and his Asherah” clarified a passage of the Book of Osee in which God, speaking by the mouth of Eph

So you belive in everything coming from absolutely nothing... That everything that we know just happened by chance of luck. That the intricate system of chemistry was just there always, and that for some reason, everything that is organic along with their complicated systems were all a fluke...

Why is that so much more believable than that everything had a designer? A creator? A god?

Dan.12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Well I thought that he died friday because its called Good Friday. But In matthew it said that The Lord will be swalllowed up in the belly of the earth, {Which means hell}. For three days and three nights. Well if he died on Friday it would not have been three nights. If he died on Thursday it would have been three nights and three days.

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 2 Timothy 1:6-9 NIV
I believe this, but then I get confused when I say "If God chose me, why didn't He chose everyone " Why do I have faith and so did God choose or did I choose ?" I know my questions are often "weird" because I use deep thought, but we do have free will so ????????

When checking my e-mail this morning, I received my first bit of hate mail:

Subject: Message for you

Message: You'll see reality one day, you stupid w****.

My response was simply to explain that his comment was not very "Christ-like" and that he was not setting a good example of Christians and I then wished him a great day.

My questions are:

Is this considerd a "Christ-like" thing to do or say?

Why do some Christians lash out at those who do not agree with their beliefs? Why get angry with someone for not sharing your beliefs?

Is this considered an effective way of converting nonbelievers?

Last Sunday I was in class and we started talking about different doctrines and how people/churchs view things differently. One doctrine that was brought up was "BAPTISM". I started to think about how even my family and I differ on the meaning/ importance of baptism, even though the scriptures are very clear on this doctrinal issue. People disagree on the way that it is to be performed, the reasons behind baptism, who has the authority to baptize, and the importance of baptism with salvation. So I would like to know what your beliefs are when it comes to someone being baptized, and also some scripture to back up your belief as well.

Why is there so much confusion in this world when it comes to religion, Paul taught us that... "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."
1 Corinthians 14:33
