The sin of suicide is not the unpardonable sin. Jesus said all manner of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven among men except blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. This sin can't be committed in this day and age as the circumstances under which it can be committed don't exist anymore. Only the sin of unbelief will determine that a person goes to hell.

I believe they have a chance of going to heaven if most of the time they were alive they had been good people. ;) When I was in college, I remember this one professor in sociology who told us that man wouldn't naturally do something that he thinks is meant to harm him. Thus, when someone commits suicide, he believes it's for his own good. And besides, people who kill themselves are obviously not in their right mind. God knows that. And, I do believe He's a merciful and fair God that's why He would still accept these people into His kingdom. One mistake wouldn't be enough for a person to be forsaken.

I don't classify myself as a christian, but I do believe in God and do believe that Jesus was a man and quite possibly a prophet and miracle worker for God, but I think that people who are either mentally and/or physically at the end of their ropes and have tried to talk to god and end up taking their own lives shouldn't be damned. I think it's very brave to keep going and to accept that god is in control, but at the same time, it seems like when you don't have any happiness left and you know you're going to at least have some relief, suicide is an honest option.....I hate it when people say it's selfish, because you're obviously in dire straits at that point.

Not exactly sure how God will judge them. I've heard several thoughts on the subject.

To commit suicide is to murder yourself and "You shall not commit murder." Pretty straightforward right? Some have argued that if you are a true Christian then if you murdered yourself it may have been an "escape" from a trial.

I'm of the belief that if you murder yourself. You're taking matters into your own hands and not working out your faith. Then you're going to have to face judgement for your own murder.

Committing suicide is murder. Murder is sin. You murder yourself, your not able to ask for forgiveness. You can't be forgiven for something before it takes place, because there is nothing to be forgive of, until the sin is committed. That would be like putting a man in jail, before he steals. The Bible clearly states, there is no sin in Heaven, and God will destroy all sin in the end. So, suicide is sin, sin goes to hell.

in spite of the fact that if or no longer they're going to Heaven or Hell is dependant on in spite of the fact that if or no longer they have popular Jesus. in the event that they seem to be a Christian (in the experience that they stick to the Bible particularly), then likely they're going to be going to Heaven. I say this via fact no longer all "Christians" have popular Jesus. stepping into Heaven isn't by works which you do to get factors so which you're stable adequate. Suicide is purely yet another sin that folk commit. It has no result on in spite of the fact that in case you get into Heaven or no longer.

i'm not really sure, but i know that most of those people aren't very happy or they have a chemical reaction in their brain telling them to do this. Sometimes their life could my perfect and good and safe. it's not always what's going on around you. It's what's going on in your head. suicide is just trying to get away from the world. so maybe they are trying to get to heaven ,becuz heaven in the place for your soul to live on in happiness. i'm not saying suicide is good , or to say people should do it. people make mistakes that's how we operate. sometimes mistakes and end your human life for ever. i think it's to go to heaven so you won't have to go through the pain anymore.

As an atypical theist, I think anyone will go to heaven as long as he repents before committing suicide.

Usually hell, but it isn't just because they commited suicide. Most people don't realize that the worst sin is not suicide, but unbelief.
