Don't tell me, a 'God', right? Or do you really want to know where they came from yourself?
I'm neither a scientist, cosmologist or religionist so can quite happily say "I don't know".
I don't have to bring ego or insecurity into it, but I would like to know where quantum particles come from. If you aren't trying to be smart and funny, then try the science section of YA?
What do you undestand a 'theory' to be? Do you trust any theories?

From the Spiritual Invisible Parallel Universe (Kingdom of GOD) Co-Existing with our Universe.
FAITH is the Substance of Things Hoped for.
GOD's Kingdom makes this one Possible, and Yes, GOD uses Faith to Make up Atoms and Molecules, which make up EverThing Else.
That is why those Scientist will never Split those Little Buggers (Atoms) down to where they get to the Faith Part--it is in another Kingdom!

They are made up of tiny vibrating strings of energy. here is a link to a really cool show by Nova. It's called The Elegant Universe and it explains this nicely for laymen. It's pretty long, but if you're really interested in this stuff, it's great.

What do you mean 'where do they come from'? They come from the same place as everything in the universe, the big bang. I guess if you want to be more precise, they come from subspace??

Vibrating strings, perhaps?
Or maybe they're God's fingernail clippings, I don't know.
