i had a friend who was WW2 veteran who is now deceased.
he was a black man and we were very close.he talked to me
alot about things that he didnt talk about with most people.
like events that he witnessed and was part of in the war.
he also talked about how things were in america back then
concerning african-americans and how they were treated as
if they were a lower class of people and didnt have the same
rights and privileges such as their access to certain public
places , restrooms etc.
here was a man who had served his country, risking life and limb everyday fighting for the freedom of others, and yet some
that he had fought for treated him as if he were inferior to
them when he was back in his home country...the same nation and people that he had fought for.

racism is a terrible thing...what are your thoughts?

If God is fair and the only way to go to heaven is through Jesus, what about those people that are living in small villages like in the amazon jungle. Thousands upon thousands are dying without knowing Jesus. Does that mean they go to hell? Are some people predestined to do so. It does not make sense. Some people live in societies where they are not likely to convert easily to Christianity. They live in societies where that certain religion is their culture (muslim, budhist, etc) They do not get the kind of exposure that (lets say Americans) get. If so that does not seem so fair and there is a flaw in this religion. Can anyone let me know what happens to these people.

We have Islam ......... the way for all the world to get connected to the Holy Covenant throught the Seed of Abraham

All can be blessed, Christians, Jews and everyone else.

The Jews and Christians will get a DOUBLE reward for accepting the final message..... as stated in Hadith.

I have often said I will start believing in God if He stops by the house sometime. So far all I have gotten was a couple of Witnesses. Perhaps if I kept a couple of God's favorite beers in the fridge, just as a gesture, then God would honor my invite? Any thoughts are welcome.

Those people did not accept Jesus as their savior or believe in him because they had not known of him yet. In that case, how would they have been able to go to heaven? Certainly it would not have been their fault that they did not pray to Jesus or have faith in Jesus since he was not around yet. But doesn't the Bible teach that only people who believe in Jesus will be able to enter the gates of heaven? So how would those people before Jesus have gotten in without ever having known who Jesus was?

In this male dominated world is it true that we believe in discrimination between male &girl child. I request every body should participate in the discussion and read others view. I wish in this healthy world of ours we are offending our good will.We must strongly defend our community.

2 Samuel 21:19 There was another battle with the Philistines in Gob, in which Elhanan, son of Jair from Bethlehem, killed Goliath of Gath, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver's heddle-bar.

Now before some one brings up 1 Chr 20:5 please go do some research to see that the original Hebrew does not contain "Lahmi the brother of Goliath ". It was added later to try to "harmonize the text" and place the honour onto David with no more contradiction. Below is a link since I am sure I will be asked for one.
