Atheism is always the religion that we all are in any case following. Just by calling yourself a believer, you don't really become one.
To become a true believer, you need to understand the meaning of God. Being a believer is the second step. Our problem since ages has been that we want to pretend, without caring to learn the ABC.
I feel concerned more about those, who call themselves believers than those, who call atheists.

I don't think so. Everyone has a psychological need to depend on faith in a higher power at some time in their lives. Their are exceptions, but all Atheists that I have known have committed suicide or otherwise self destructed. The exceptions I have known all are so egotistical that they act like they are Gods. Also, in the past, all rulers that have tried to oust all religions except Atheism but have failed miserably every time(research communism). If you compose a time-line of the earths sociological background, you'll find that history repeats itself in cycles of events and forms a complex pattern of peace and war, progression and regression, to dark ages renaissances and back to the dark ages. The context of this cycle changes as new technology and beliefs are created along the way. We have yet to see something new happen under the sun. My point is that while Atheists will continue to follow their faith in their own power and the power of death, every other faith will continue to believe in what they believe because everyone thinks they are right in their personal beliefs. I am agnostic and a skeptic so this opinion is biased by my own beliefs just as yours or anyone else's opinion, but one fact is present. No human being in physical form knows for certain, but everyone acts like they do. you may now disregard my beliefs and continue with your own.

Honest atheism always leads to nihilism and nihilism always leads to suicide.
Dishonest atheism pretends that life is worth living but worth requires purpose. Things that have no purpose have no worth. And purpose, as per atheist Russell, requires God:
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

Atheists do argue, they just don't argue about the existence of God.
And for the record, people who believe in a Holy Trinity, and a literal reading of Genesis and Revelation don't argue very much either.

I hope you're right. Atheism is the most realistic and rational way of living this life. It is also the most ethical and moral.

The theory of atheism has love as its base. Nobody asks us to worship God or fear God. Love to & for fellow beings yes to everything, it is this love to all that is referred as God. Love all serve all.
