Nonsense. Shikhism is the only religion manufactured to cater the need of the society in given point of time. Every other religions are Logical discourses aloud. It is a different story that the need has chanded over the period of time. But that does not allow licence for anybody to call it a Barbarian religian. On the Contrary I feel Sikh is the only community prepared fully to combate Islamic Terrorism. Any Sikh worth it's salt would never forget the treatment meted out to their Gurus by the Muslims. They are not Barbarian but truely a warrior communuty potential of which is yet to be exploited in modern times.

It is foolish to term a religion as Barbarian.
All religions are governed by a set of beautiful doctrines and principles. It preaches good way of life. It teachs its followers better social life, have patience and promote humane qualities.
Sikh Religion is the latest, founded recently after the Islam Religion came into existence.
The followers of Sikh were the bravest soldiers who fought for their own protection. There is no proof of agression in their history. Even the British could not defeat them.
Instead they made the Sikh rulers their friends.
It is a wonder, even though their religion is the newest one, they are almost free from barbarianism. Of course there may be a few incidents of vandalism, just like other religions. You cann't treat this exclusive to one religon. In almost all religions, vandalism by a certain group exist, even the most revered Budhism and Jainism. As compared to any other religion, I respect Sikhs as one of the best, really passionate, hard-working and less arrogant.
This is my sincere opinion about most Sikh.

I would ask you to please read the book in the context of history before making such careless quotes. Its true that in the past history at one point sikhs had to kill atleast one muslim. But that was when the sikhs were being ruled by muslim rulers and when they wanted freedom and wanted to free their country. I would not call that barbaric but an act of patriotism. And to me Sikhs are one the most patriotic sect of Indians. If you look into the Indian history i guess you will find that the sikhs are the ones who have laid their lives for their country the most.
We can find similar instances in other religions .. for instance is it not true that a christian prophet order the massacre of a complete village just cause they were not praying to christ also have we not seen such massacres in the islamic world. And these tooo were also not that "long time ago". I guess that makes each and every one of us barbaric.

Quoting out of context always can cause a great alarm......Sikhs and Muslims are very much similar in their rituals and living. However whatever is written in that book is of no cotext to present day living......nowadays a vast majority live with the same attitude....never fear to kill.
However Sikhs are one of the better communities in India today......they are the most hardworking, cheerful and very helpful people. They share the borders with unfreindly neighbours hence they are what they often depicted as...valiant and fearless. The muslims are also very good at heart but circumstances and situations often depict them as a community of war thirsty humans....this is absolutely wrong !
There are many who are equally good if not better.......

WHAT?!?!?!? that isn't be able to be obtainable. each Sikh knows of that Sikhism is a mix of Hinduism and Islam. they does not Kill somebody from their sister faith. Hell they does not Kill somebody in any respect! that's against their faith to homicide. i don't understand in the experience that your source is a competent one or not, all i understand is that Sikhism isn't Barbarianism! they're comfortable human beings. All they choose is to be waiting to Worship Vahiguru in peace. besides it grow to be the Hindu's that attacked their temple, not the Muslims so i don't understand why they'd hate Islam.
