What do you think will be the fate of "Christians" who take this view? Do you take this view? Consider what Paul said about grace and sinning, and God commanding we be perfect and holy as He is. If you say that that is impossible, do you realize what you are saying about the Father? Search the Scriptures; be like the Bereans. God bless. Peace. I'm out!

“If you see your path laid out in front of you -- Step one, Step two, Step three -- you only know one thing... it is not your path. Your path is created in the moment of action. If you can see it laid out in front of you, you can be sure it is someone else's path. That is why you see it so clearly.” -- Joseph Campbell

Can we trust ourselves to carve our own trail?

“To know how to choose a path with heart is to learn how to follow intuitive feeling.” -- Jean Shinoda Bolen

Is it possible to love something or someone, and not become too attached to them - accept it will die eventually, or be taken from you - not let your desire or greed overtake you - to avoid negative emotions - so that when the time comes for it to perish, you can accept the circle of life's right to take away and give what it creates.

My point is, if you can love something, but accept it's eventual perishment, and be enlightened - you can appreciate it for what it is, not be greedy and not create negative emotions which lead to suffering.

I have been asked by my home group to give testimony about God, and I wanted to speak on the subject of answered prayer. I can give accounts of the way God answers prayer from my own experience, but would like to draw from scripture as well, which is more important. Does anyone have any good Bible quotations on the subject of how God answers prayer please?

Perhaps a strange question, so it might warrant an explanation. I'm writing a story about a crew of astronauts who are about to die during re-entry, and they all know it. I want to have the commander praying, but I don't actually know any prayers because I've never been that religious. Can anyone help me out?
