The evolutionists would have us believe that man started out totally ignorant and has evolved in intelligence and reason. The Bible teaches that God created man peerfect in every way and man has devolved into low states of humanity. Adam was probably one of the smatests men that ever lived. After man sinned a fell from God's grace they populated the earth and spread out. Those early people would have been the ones who lived in caves. Not all people were living in caves there were those, the Bible tells us, that built cities, and studied and learned just as we do today.

The vast majority of Christians take Genesis as allegory. Evolution is only a problem for a minority of Christians whose beliefs are far from the mainstream orthodox views. Over half the Christians in the world are Catholic -- and even Pope John Paul II said that "Evolution is much more than mere theory."
The thing I find ironic is that those who insist that Genesis be taken literally refuse to believe in transubstantiation. Why is it that they think that God was incapable of speaking symbolically about the formation of the Earth, but was speaking symbolically when he said "This is my body"?

Cavemen are an imagination of evolutionists who in the past looked for the 'missing links' between apes and humans called hominids. Where did they go? They were supposed to be better equipped than the apes. The apes are still around. The fact is they never existed.
But there are supposed missing links all over the evolutionary tree. For instance, dogs and bears are thought to be evolutionary cousins, related to each other through a missing link. The same could be said for every other stop on the tree.
Missing links do not exist. Neither did they ever exist.

Wake up!.... being a christian doesn't mean u have to be so illogical. Bible was written a long time after homo sapiens evolved. And it has been misinterpreted since than.
Sorry Kate... but u have to learn to think beyond religion when to grow up. And i think u have already started that.Congrats. There is nothing wrong in being religious as long as u have an open-minded to see the facts.

I don't know about the cave men but, if you read Genesis carefully, you can find references to the development of civilization and the tools men used as one generation followed the next. I see this as mirroring the modern scientific concepts of the Stone Age, the Iron Age, and the Bronze Age. Genesis also makes it clear that humans were first hunters, then farmers, then city dwellers. Again, this reflects the story of mankind as we know it from science and history.

Cave men and women existed as the prehistoric species of mankind before God made the last genetic change to create the modern human. It could be and maybe should be logic thinking that the modern humans such as us today started at the moment in evolution that God reduced the average human life span after Noah's flood down to 120 years old which would mean us modern humans started around Abraham and Sarah's time. Whatever that time in ancient history our scientists believe that it happened.

I am a Christian Preacher, writer and Evangelist.
In regards to your question I have come to the conclusion that the Bible account is true and accurate, however it IS NOT the history of the world as much as it is the recorded accounts of God's attempts to reconcile man and Himself.
It is also a rather accurate history of the Jewish People.

..... Which......" CAVE MEN ".... were YOU... speaking... About...!
The .... ONES.... in the... " GIECO Commercials...? " [ L O L ! ]
Surely you have... CONFUSED.... Partial History... with the Bible Truth!
MANKIND.... did not live in caves... as those Evolutionary Historians... would have ONE... to ... Ignorantly Believe...!
Perhaps IF... you would get the book at your local library .. The Ice Man Cometh ... and see the 5000-year old Man... and his Level of Technical Ability.. it would ... Blow Away your .... Cave Man - Thinking.... EVOLUTIONARY Thinking!
Perhaps you can link to this... and tell US... which ' cave man ' built this.... and .. how long ago?

The cave men are descendants of Adam and Eve who do not know how to construct houses of their own. They are using the caves as their home., but they are no more to be found.
