Why is it that God sees poor and needy people and yet do nothing about them?

If God is all good, then why did he make the devil, evil, pain, and a million other horrible things? If the devil is a seperate entity, then God cannot be omnipotent. God has to be good and bad if God is the supreme being. God wpuld have to be evil as well as good if God is really God. Otherwise, God is more like a deity in mythology, and has to compete with other Gods.
Personally, I believe that God doesn't DO anything, God IS the essence of everything that is.

That's entertainment for God! God is in those poor and needy people too! God is in starving people and mean people and everyone! Being unknowing and suffering is a break from everything for God! But God loves your thoughts too!
If it bothers you enough, if it is within you, the passion of compassion for their human condition relative to yours, then by God, go help them! I won't stop you. Thankyou for caring! My God smiles upon your soul.

God has allowed the poor to remain in order to test the rich.
We/rich are to share God's blessings. Selfishness has no place in God's plan of things.
I admire the rich who give so much to help the poor.

A man was created by God to do his own living and to select on the right or wrong to do.. God has given you the land to cultivate and your sound mind and body to work, why noit work to survive. Do not laways depend on God. Have self reliance and not always rely from God.

it's all about making a choice and that's what god xpects from rich people to do.god is not gonna materially save the poor and the needy.it's all up to us.we, the ones who have some or a great deal of power t help those people, have the chance to make a choice and then take the chance to help and provide.

G-d helps them by making one miracle at a time.He shouldn't be the only one helping them.You should too.I already do at my synagogue. We should help these people because we are much fortunate to have things we want and need when they of course don't have all the things like computers.They might not even have what they need.So we need to help them to survive.

He does help them when they cry out to him, I was one of them. I can remember standing in food bank lines praying I don't get moldly food. being told I couldn't come back for a year and having to pray for my daily bread, literally. God does provide when People are saved and stand on his word. I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his "seed" begging for bread. I have been among the poor who pray. God does a lot of miracles there.

A million people will give you a million excuses for why this happens. An atheist will say that it is the problem for the human race to solve since there isn't any god.

God doesn't do anything because he created the world, gave people free will and left them to be until he comes again. the same reason there are wars etc. if he interfered too much people would become to dependent.
(also if they prayed hard enough I'm sure he'd do something for them)
