And just like Christianity stole from Judaism, Dan Brown stole from Lewis Perdue, so we'd be keeping a grand tradition alive!

The Declaration of Independence, created and signed by our founding fathers, refer to our Creator over 15 times in the Dec of Ind, and also in the Bill of Rights.

Whether you believe in "God" the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ or not, how can you stand living here when all of our laws and principles are based on the idea of God, our Creator.

Just wondering.

Just curious. Everyone is so hell-bent on believing what they want to believe that I really am curious as to whether or not you have ever honestly agreed with or at least pondered any of our questions.

For instance, one that we have yet to get a satisfactory answer to is (you know this is yours, Donkey):

Why did God send his son (who is also God) to be killed to save the world from Hell (which was also created by God)?

Storms this world will ever face as we await for Our Messiah the Only One Worthy of Prasie Lord JESUS Christ son of the only true Living GOD creator of Heaven and Earth?

Jesus gave a warning "...repent. If...thou shalt not watch...thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Revelation 3:3).

Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to understand, prepare, watch and yearn for His coming! The Groom wants His Bride and wants Her to want Him! Do we understand how important this is in our personal relationship with Him? Please be prepared for Him (and for yourself)!

Luke 12:37, "Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."

Do you have GOD's Armour on as we face the BIGGEST GLOBAL STORM, Perilous times that will become worse with each passing day?

Not like a little green man with a big head.. But an entity that is infinitely intelligent, existing outside space/time. Maybe it cares about us, maybe not. Nothing to wage war over.

Is a natural view of "God" more believable than a spiritual one?

I'm planning on writing a modern allegory of the Gospel story. Here are the characters:

Josh (that's Jesus)- a "roving" religion professor/miracle worker; formerly a cabinet-maker, and raised by his step father (also a cabinet-maker) and his mother.

Pete (that's Peter)- a friend and student of Josh; a fisherman by trade.

Andy (that's Andrew)- Pete's younger brother who introduced him to Josh; also one of Josh's students.

Jimmy (James)- also a fisherman by trade; a friend of the brothers Andy and Pete; a friend and student of Josh

Johnny (John)- Jimmy's younger brother; thought to be Josh's best friend and favorite student.

Phil (that's Philip)- also a student of Josh; introduced Josh to his friend Nate.

Nate (Nathaniel)- a very honest and pious, young student of Josh; a man "in whom is found no guile."

Matt (Matthew)- a former IRS agent; became a student of Josh.

Tommy (Thomas)- a student of Josh who is very skeptical about some things.

Jim (James th Less)

why would he make one such that he needed a sacrafice of the human for of himself to forgive all sins? it's an empty gesture. he could just as easily say, "do you accept me as you lord and personal savior?" and skip the whole killing thing.

I see more and more books/articles/movies about religion now than I ever have. Is this because of the islam/Christian war or is it because of science? Other reasons are acceptable as well. I want to here your thoughts!

Anybody having done a high lvl of math knows about the concept of infinity. It is not a number, a place, a tangible thing, it is nothing but a concept. Even the universe is thought to be finite. God to me is infinite. Everything about him is infinite and every question about can be answer with "infinity". I'll give you an example.

Lets say your taking a space ship to "look for" infinity and you have traveled trillions of miles. How far away are you from infinity? infinitely far.
Now lets try with God. Does god exist? Infinitely. When trying to prove this no matter how much we discover about the universe how far away from him are we proving him? Infinitely

I am talking more about a deistic god than Yaweh who all educated folks know is a myth. My point is that GOD is simply a concept that hovers at the end of our ability to reason. We can never find him or get to him and we'll never get any closer. You can't quantify infinity or god. They are both just concepts
PS This is good weed

It has just been announced that the roman catholic church is going to have to pay another multi million dollar award to those who have been sexually abused by catholic priests:

What on earth can the church do to stop this contagion of paedophilia within its midst?

If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is an intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time.

Think about it.

Prominent Creation Scientist Em Adjineri has recently performed an experiment that conclusively proves that evolution is false. If evolution were true, then horseshoe crabs would have evolved naturally. However, there is no possibly way they could evolve.

The purpose of the Em Adjineri experiment was to get horseshoes and crabs to breed successfully. However, they could not do so because a horseshoe is an inanimate object. This proves that the horseshoe crab, which is half-horseshoe and half-crab must have been intelligently designed.

If the horseshoe crab was intelligently designed, then intelligent design is true. This proves that the Bible is literally true.

He stated he would start his church upon his return, correct? Now if he started the christian church as christians claim then he must have already returned (like he said he would before his desciples died) or he did not start the christian church.

If he started his church would that church not be the Catholic church?

Are Jews forbidden to be merciful to the Arabs living under their occupation ?

The spiritual leader of Israel's ultra-orthodox Shas party, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, has provoked outrage with a sermon calling for the annihilation of Arabs.

"It is forbidden to be merciful to them. You must send missiles to them and annihilate them. They are evil and damnable," he was quoted as saying in a sermon delivered on Monday to mark the Jewish festival of Passover.

Anyone noticed Johnny Law Law is the only "verily, verily" gospel account of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John;

And the latter of two resurrections of "verily, verily" Jesus therein is of damnation;

Not to mention the resurrection of life is perhaps life + death;

Since both sides of Law vs Law are a ministration of death;
And life in CJ of Romans 8 Law vs Law the life of life + death.

Every way you look at Law vs Law it's as Loser vs Loser.

Above such is the resurrection of Christ, seated
higher than the plural dividead heavens on high.
