He stated he would start his church upon his return, correct? Now if he started the christian church as christians claim then he must have already returned (like he said he would before his desciples died) or he did not start the christian church.

If he started his church would that church not be the Catholic church?

The church started iin Acts chapter 2. What today is referred to as the "Catholic Church" deviates from the church Christ established both doctrinally and in practice.

Christ's church is not an institution, but rather a corporate body composed of all who believe in the Biblical Christ. The Catholic church is merely an institution with claims of grandeur.

Jesus didnot lie, the church was started on the day of Pentecost, read Acts chapters 1 and 2. Now the actual meaning of the word church is a body of Christians. Not a denomination or a building, from the first church at Jerusalem to all over the world we are all one in Jesus Christ. A man named martin luther started a denomination called the protestants, for protests, of the catholic denomination or as it was called the catholic church. The protestent denomination became alot of what you have today with the baptists, methodists and so on. When Jesus returns this next time he will come to get his church or bride and take us to Heaven. The rapture is his next return. Very soon I hope. Are you ready, have you been saved, Do you believe Jesus died for your sins, If you are willing to admit to him you are a sinner he will make you a child of his. Just say this Prayer, Dear Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, I believe you came to earth to die on a cross for me to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins and rose from the grave the third day, I know and confess that I am a sinner in need of your salvation. I ask you to come into my heart now and save me, in Jesus name I Pray, Amen... If you just Prayed that Pray with a sincere heart you are now saved and Jesus lives inside your heart. Find a church, get you a Bible and start reading. Its a wonderfull world being a born again Christian. If you have questions please feel free to send me an email. Good luck to you and God Bless YOU!!

Iam not sure this sentence is written in the Bible. Well, if so, it would mean the church of heavens. Jesus was talking about His church in heavens. Remember that church means a gathering of believers.

Good luck!

Whoa. This may explain how the Catholic church came so far from the teachings of Jesus . . .

Come back, JC! Set it right!

The kingdom of God began when Jesus paid the price for our sins. The Catholics had nothing to do with it.
