And just like Christianity stole from Judaism, Dan Brown stole from Lewis Perdue, so we'd be keeping a grand tradition alive!

so they'd use as a holy book a book that talks about some guy they've never heard of(since you implied the bible isn't around) who married someone who they haven't heard of, which created a conspiracy by a group the've never heard of that lead to a murder in a place they've never heard of?

and they would use this to gauge their lives?

well yeah, of course.(/sarcasm)

I doubt that Christianity will last in its present state for another two thousand years.

This age is unique in human history in that there is more information and communication available to anyone with an inexpensive computer.

Look at what we are doing with these Yahoo Groups; people have never been able to do this before.

We are not only just airing out our own views but learning what others think, while still safe at home.

Christianity, like all religions, gives people a common source of ideas and values, and a shared story of what life is, and what it means.

But the more years that pass with this cornucopia of easily available information and communication with other peoples around the world, the more profound and massive will be the effect on our thinking and on our lives.

The old world views of the popular religions will convince fewer and fewer people, and newer world views will take their place.

I sure as hell hope not, we have about 1000 better books than that, and I'm including elevator operation manuals.
