I have gone nearly a year without any of my questions/answers regarding Christianity reported and deleted. I probably ask and answer 10 times many about Christianity as I do about Islam. Yet I would say over 50% of my Q's and A's about Islam get deleted. I am pretty much equally opposed to both cults and speak my mind accordingly.

Yesterday I received my first V notice for a question I posted about Christianity. What's up with you Christians? Are you now stooping to the level of Muslims and just attacking people you do not like or people who disagree with you? What's so hard about sending me an email that says something like "Chris, what you said was very offensive. It seems like you are not really wanting an honest answer, but rather trying to instigate arguments." Something like that is respectable and can be dealt with accordingly. Why be cowards? Why not express your opposing views as an answer or send me an email if you are too scared of public ridicule?

Every so often I see a Christian insist that they know their god is real because they have personally experienced or "felt" him somehow.

As a non-christian, what is your opinion regarding such a statement?

Do you think it is a complete lie?

Do you think the christians have deluded themselves into thinking they have felt something when there was actually nothing there?

Do you think they felt something else and misidentified it?

Or do you have some other opinion or idea about it?

Recently I decided not to teach my children about Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny because of my Christian beliefs. I feel they are only a distraction from what the holiday is actually about. I will still have a tree and stuff at Christmas and still want to have baskets and eggs at Easter. Can you please help me find a way to bring the true meaning of the holidays into all of this. Thanks.

This is what CJ tells us, but what does the bible tell us?

The Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us. Thus in Psalms 103, we pray, "Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!" (Ps. 103:20-21). And in Psalms 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!" (Ps. 148:1-2).

Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, we read: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3-4).

The majority if not all of your question are either insults on the Christians or the Muslims! if you don't believe as they do. Fine. Don't. But at the very least. Grow up and stop asking such insulting questions, and no if someone is going to use the freedom of speech excuse, or they are just asking questions. Come on people. Some of you have gone over board.
and if someone going to say they do it to you. Two does not make it right. Just because some do wrong. It does not mean you can take it on all of us.
one example of many:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhFJDokscPSiTgv9jYU7mezd7BR.?qid=20070906074150AAQwMH4
Is there any limit to where it will go!

I'm honest person. If you don't like my question. Your choice. Move on, and don't go crying to big brother. If you can't handle the heat in the kitchen get out. It is going to get mighty hot here.

P.S. Thank you one and ALL for taking the time.

As I search through youtube, I find more and more pathetic videos featuring "new athiests" who seem more deluded than their fundemental Christian friends. No, I have no problem with Christianity, nor do I have a problem with Athiesm. I'm just sick of hearing:
"Well,um, I don't believe in God, uh, cause there is no proof of God, and, um [plays with hair], God isn't real, cause, um, I can't see him, and yea, I can't find proof he exsists so He must not exsist, and yea there isn't scientific evidence so God isn't real..God my nails are pretty."

I'd love some comments on this from a diverse community, just no evangelism (that includes athiests.)

The Last "days"(plural) are already past: 1-2000 AD;
If one day [is] as 1000 years, in 2Peter 3:8 "allegory".

It's now the third day is the seventh day is the last day.
In John 1 & 2:1 the third day is the seventh, if counting.

Revelation takes place on the seventh day,
evident from the seven benidictions therein;
For 18 spoken daily, but only 7 on Sabbath.

It seems the last day requires a Sabbath shewdown;
to determine which day, of twain, it will be for eternity:
The day of the LORD(LAW) vs The day of God(Grace).

Hint: Amos 5:18
The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
To what end is it("ministration of death") to you?

Hint: 2Peter 3 (Converted Peter, to scatter brained brethren)
We all are one should be "hasting" unto the day of God

Hint: Paul The Apostle to the Hebews(Babes) Chp 12:
When seeing, then it's an end "run", along with patience,
to the conclusion of the matter: Grace with you all. Amen.

I'm honestly interested in knowing what the basis for helping others would be if you don't believe in God--doesn't that go against Darwinian evolution? It seems illogical to not just be concerned with your own needs, if we are not connected in some higher way.

It seems that certain religions have contributed a lot to our idea of the right way to treat others--I just wondered what an atheist would say is the origin of their respect of humanity.

My question is a sincere wish for enlightenment--thanx for any insight you can give!

I dont' see why not. How hard is it to learn? How hard is it to try? You can do anything if you approach it the right way and put some effort into it.

I've seen wimps become stronger than the rest. Shy guys become the most confidant and cool men. I've seen unattractive transform into really sexy. The uneducated into truly intelligent, logical and witty. The unpopular become the most known among everyone.

I've witnessed instant perfection, being able to pick something up (skills - machinery/tools/artistic... any skill) and have it mastered within minutes. I know it is possible to learn anything and everything, especially in modern times with instant access to information through the internet.

I also know God is here to offer His help and support especially when we need it the most.

I know anything is possible because i know God made it so.

So do you believe anything is possible? Because everything i just described is my own testament, that has been my life.
