The majority if not all of your question are either insults on the Christians or the Muslims! if you don't believe as they do. Fine. Don't. But at the very least. Grow up and stop asking such insulting questions, and no if someone is going to use the freedom of speech excuse, or they are just asking questions. Come on people. Some of you have gone over board.
and if someone going to say they do it to you. Two does not make it right. Just because some do wrong. It does not mean you can take it on all of us.
one example of many:

Is there any limit to where it will go!

I'm honest person. If you don't like my question. Your choice. Move on, and don't go crying to big brother. If you can't handle the heat in the kitchen get out. It is going to get mighty hot here.

P.S. Thank you one and ALL for taking the time.

I am NOT referring to all of you. Only to those who thinks that it is all right to say whatever they wish without any consideration. Just them, not all.
Thank you again.

I don't care who you are or what you believe or not believe. I don't preach anything, I don't know where you are going to end up heaven or hell, I don't know where I am going to end up. Why would I where you will end up. None of my concern. I had better view of your before I came here, and now, some of you have tarnish that view.

My respect to the respectful Atheist. Thank you, all the best to you ALL.

Forgive them for they do not know what they do.

As you stated, she is a child. People like her are only crying out of attention. Don't bother with kids like her.

It is a shame that Americans are so fat and happy all they have to do is go on line and be insulting to other people over whatever issue.
Most of them wouldn't even open their mouths in public or where I could get my hands on them.

I seriously doubt you've read ALL the questions by "atheists" on yahoo answers. You also need to take a lot of the questions with a grain of salt because there are many christian buffoons who create dummy accounts just to pose as atheists to make us look bad, as well as self-proclaimed atheists who are purposely harsh and abrasive just to get a rise out of people. These people are hardly the atheist majority so save your judgements. Besides, Have you read any of the questions from supposed christians on here? It's funny how you come here & complain about atheists talking down on your beliefs, but you don't think twice about the reverse. Typical selfish christian... only cares when their beliefs are mocked, but they have no problem talking down to the non-believers.

I really suggest though, that you do not base your judgements of atheists on things you read here on Yahoo answers because it is not a place that should be taken seriously.

Edit: in regards to the stupid question you posted a link to where the person asked a question about whether jesus poo'd..... How do you even know that's an atheist? There is no information written in the person's profile. You are simply assuming it is an atheist because it's a question that is "insulting" to christianity. That's not right. You're doing so much judging and you do not even know all of the facts...... not only that, but you're allowing yourself to be offended by stupidity on YAHOO ANSWERS..... this isn't a "mature" forum... it's yahoo answers.... most people don't care. You don't like it? Report it and move on with your life....OR just move on with your life and ignore it.... Posting these cry-baby questions and generalizing on all atheists based on these stupid people posting "offensive to christian" type questions doesn't make you look like very good.... not only that, but assuming you're christian... you're not making your religion look any better to atheists either. You are fueling the first for these buffoons to continue to post stupid questions like that.

Get a life and move on. Seriously!

Sound familiar?

Sure, some people post inappropriate questions. Some of those people are atheists, some aren't. In any case, the appropriate course of action is either to ignore them, contact them personally about it, or report the relevant question. Making a generalisation about atheists doesn't help anyone, least of all yourself.

I ask honest questions and give honest answers. If that causes believers to take offense or feel insulted, then that is one more problem their religion is causing.

edit: I just went to the question you gave as an example, and honestly I think it's a very good question, and I'm sorry it makes you uncomfortable. If Jesus was an actual person he was male, right? Fully male? We know how male physiology works, so how did he deal with it?
The second question was obviously just plain silly, but I liked the first one.

The way you worded your rant strongly implied you meant all of us. I can't speak for everyone, but I try to clear up misconceptions and encourage critical thinking about what one chooses to base their lives on. Especially when it concerns others (including myself). I could live and let live if people kept their religious views out of politics that govern us all, but that isn't the case. At the very least, I have to at least ensure that people are aware of other people's right to other points of view, even if they don't agree with them.

Think about it... if we all just lived with the status quo and no one ever tried to change anything, the U.S. would still be "The Colonies," segregation would still be legal, as would be slavery, and no one would go to jail for killing a non-white person unless they were in fact another non-white person. Someone has to stand up to faulty thinking that causes bad things to be justified. Left unchecked, it's only a matter of time before our "christian nation" decides to ban all other religions and we become a theocracy, where the most intolerant of religious bigots decide what's best for the country.

I'm not here to kill the belief, I'm here to encourage thought about issues the belief affects.

I have a better idea. If you don't like your faith questioned, then go hang out in the NASCAR section instead.

I'm here to learn and share my knowledge, not merely reinforce my preconceptions, and honestly, some of the beliefs people have here are just plain silly.

While I agree that it is pointless to be rude and denigratory (as the one poster you pointed out has done) I must say, since you bring it up, that I do find the idea of grown-up rational people believing in a fairy tale to be highly humorous and entertaining.

I'll express my opinion on the subject when asked, but I won't start flamewars with it.
