If you are LDS then you know that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ARE Christian. And the Book of Mormon does not add to the Bible it is in addition to the Bible, meaning that it is to be used with the Bible and not to replace it.
Please quit posing and trying to convince people you are LDS.

First I think that Christians should find their own paths and their own churches, whatever feels right to them should be what they follow. Let God sort it out at the end.
I have had a mormon boyfriend in the past who's family had Pictures of Jesus everywhere( I am a methodist). There was even this huge picture of the last supper in their living room. I agree that they are odd. It doesn't mean that they don't believe in Jesus or aren't Christians. Also the opinion that is in discussion is stating that "when people embrace Christ, they will want to go to a certain kind of church, one that has only the bible with nothing added or taken away."
I think that if you believe in him with your whole heart and not slander others for believing in him their own way. You might make it to heaven to ask Jesus, "So dude, who was right?" To be quite honest, I don't think any church has it exactly right. Wouldn't that be for God to say?

Sorry that is not true.
When people are perfected they will show love and kindness to ALL people. Are you doing that? They will become more like Jesus who is perfect. Are you perfect? They will realize that God loves all his children the same Mormons, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists. If God loves all his children, shouldn't you do the same?
I don't know what belief or religion you profess to, but maybe you should spend less time looking at how wrong everybody else is or how right you are, and spend time looking for the good things you can learn from EVERYONE.
If you truly want to embrace Christ. Show some love. Emulate the love of Christ and stop trying to tear down others beliefs.

The Prophet is always coming up with these pearls of wisdom, when I first was a member I remember being told that if I was aaked by the media. " What do you think of>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WHATEVER THE CONTROVERSY WAS AT THE TIME. bACK THEN IT WAS mRAK hOFFMAN SELLIN FALSE DOCU,EMTS TO THE pROPHET AND he, sPENCER W kIMBALL SAYING" i FEEL A BURNING IN MY BREAST." He must have had too much Postum bcause all of those documents were forged, and the financeier of the deal was murdered by the forger, Hoffman, also a Mormon.
Any way we were told to say, "I don't have to think the thinking has been done for me." Luckilly I never had to use that one in an interview but I heard a few do it.
THey change their story every few months, I still have the Church new going back 20 years so I can remind everybody, They also used to say, "Who controls the past, controls the future. Watch out Sci Fi fans.

The first part of the argument is an assumption.
Catholics, episcopalians, Greek orthodox and a whole slew of other denominations would disagree. The "Only the bible with nothing added or taken away" shows the author of that quote is a bible literalist, which is true of only a fraction of christianity.
In short, the author places a judgment on mormons based on his own brand of christianity, which is akin to saying "everybody knows that true gourmets loath swiss chard, so everybody striving to become a gourmet will move away from swiss chard".
Subjective at best.

My opinion is that if someone is "perfected" they have achieved salvation and are Christ-like by nature.
I'm not convinced that the perfected person necessarily needs to be Christian. Or Mormon. Or Muslim. Or an Alpha Centurian.
I do believe that perfection is possible outside of organized religion.
Good luck!

OH MY !!!!
Christans can be and ,often are our ,own worst enemy. The rules are written in the Rule Book -AKA the Bible.
Each of us need to go on a ''walkabout" through the Scriptures and make a few informed decisions based upon what we are able to understand.
Then we continue to read research and grow throughout our lives.
Personally I try to live by the rules set down in the Bible and listen with great discernment to the many opinions given by 'man'

As a bible based Christian, no matter how a Mormon words their book, "The book of Mormon", "A companion to the bible", its still against earlier texts in the bible that state its wrong to take from or add to the bible. Basing a whole faith on a book thats been added contrary to what the bible says, permanently discredits that entire faith.

I think that is a very uncharitable way to put it. In fact, I'm becoming more and more disheartened at the lack of charity in these so-called Christians in Yahoo also.
Personally, as a Catholic, I do disagree with the LDS church, but I also disagree with "Bible Only" Christians, so I guess I would be next on this guy's target list.

I think that it is just what you call it -- an opinion -- as put forth by Evan Schaible.
In one of the videos of Evan at a college campus, he actually says "he is not a sinner anymore" -- The L-RD G-d Almighty says Evan is a liar (According to G-d's Holy Word -- "anyone who says he or she is Without Sin is a Liar").
