You really have to be so narrow-minded that your ears touch, to overlook the overwhelming holes in your bible, and the flood of real (KNOWLEDGE) thats there in your (PUBLIC) library, because burning books just isnt an option anymore. Do you really think that the scientific work done by great people is the work of SATAN. Religions are the biggest money making schemes of all times, and I am reminded of the saying that a sucker is born every second. Now just think about the sheep that sent money to the Christian Jim's, Jim Jones, Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggert. The world is flat, the sun revolves around the earth. Folks I've witnessed christians get their arses handed to them because they have (NO) intellectual property, this is turning into a tragic comedy.

i'm christian right now, and people at church say that heaven exists, but my gut and brain tell me that heaven and hell is just an idea, not real places. however if they are wrong, they have nothing to lose, but if i'm wrong i'm screwed. then again, i can't just pretend to believe something that my logic says otherwise. help?

Ok, SCIENCE: we are all made of Protons, nuetrons, and electrons, Tiney lil particles. Our brains fire off lil electric signals and thats how we feel, see, hear, think etc. My question is HOW, is it that protons nutrons and electron created you, the complex person that you are? YOU may say that we are doing the same thing in Robotics, and thats fine, but in that case we would be the gods of these creations. Someone might say Aliens, ok, but who made them? I can understand pagans, muslims, jews, hell even mormons, But Atheist and Protestants I dont understand. So if your "faith" isnt shakin Im looking for serios answers. p.s. yes I know I cant spell

To believers and non believers.

How would you feel if when your life ended there was nothing?
Would it be anger, sadness, denial, confused, or would you feel nothing since you hypothetically don't exist anymore.

A better question is if you knew before your death that nothingness awaited you.

I can understand that some people don't share my beliefs. I can respect that. What I can't respect is the ones who are rude and make comparisons to Sant Claus or Big Bird and some sort of spaghetti monster. I personally don't make up names to insult Atheists or Agnostics or any other religions. Can you please show Christianity the same respect?

Doesn't that mean that if I'm proven wrong at the Pearly gates, won't I still have time to repent for my sins?

Ive said I am a Jewish believer in Jesus. Many people on my other questions have said " Im not Jewish anymore and I am a bad Jew, etc. etc. " and " who am I to challenge centuries of Jewish Rabbinic teaching that Jesus isnt the Messiah " ? Well...are you aware that for centuries the human race thought the world was flat...and taught it in colleges ? Or the myriad of errors about medical conditions for centuries? How about the sun orbiting around the earth teaching ? How about the hundreds of years that one nation taught it was the super race and all others were " mongrel " ? ( even though Jews are and were intellectually beating them in education while they taught this ). Could a people be wrong for hundreds of years ? Even the rabbis ? Yep....they could.....sorry...but its true....Could one girl be right and 100s of rabbis be wrong ? Yep......Ohhh yes...

i think christianity is foolish. i respect the fact that that's what some christians live by but i don't think it is real. i used to be a christian, i studdies certain aspects so i know enough to argue about it. i opened another of the same sort of question at this link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070901210636AAomwhZ&r=w
jesus was a man and none other, christians say he died for our sins. are christians that afraid to die? christians deny evolution and yet its pretty much been proven. alot of people tend to say i'm a christian and i believe in evolution. if you ae a christian and you do believe in evolution then you are not actually a christian. give me your opinions. spread the word about this question i want as many people as possible to respond to this question. answer as much as you want.

Sin is not the issue - Jesus died for ALL the sins of mankind.

Having Faith is now the issue. All you have to do is humble yourself and accept this free gift.

God has offered all the gift of salvation. Will you receive this wonderful gift today?

Please define God.

P.S - A concept has a genus and a differentia. The role of the definition is to describe both.

Please treat this as what it is. A question. I'm not calling catholics demoniacs.

In the first chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, verses 24-25 it states:

"Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the Angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her til she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And she called his name Jesus."

A plain reading of the text, to me, indicates that once Mary had delivered Jesus she and Joseph began a normal husband/wife relationship..that is, he "knew her" as in carnal knowledge. They had sex from that point on, ending Mary's virginity.

Catholic response? Again, it's a only a question!

Yes he is a convicted criminal. Blasphemy was what he was convicted and sentenced for. Why is there such a whitewashing of his criminal past going on?
