I mean, I want to stay behind and try to help all the people suffering on earth in "hell". I could not live with myself in "heaven" if I was having such a good time while people in "hell" that were stuck on earth were suffering. Maybe I can comfort some people, talk things over with Satan?

I only realised now, its horrible...Why eat his body and drink his blood? Jesus experienced hell when he was tortured, and this is celebrated? I don't get it :(

1. If Jesus was the Son of God and the Biblical accounts are accurate, then why is Jesus so glaringly absent from the other historical accounts of the time?

2. If Jesus wasn't the Son of God but rather just a person, then how did nothing more than a "marginal Jew" become elevated to the status of God so shortly after his death and earthly burial?

That Jesus began as the mythical Son of God in the first place solves both of these problems and is more in line with both the facts and the traditional Christian story.

Since both these religions believe in the second coming of the Jesus Christ and both are instructed in their scriptures to follow his guidance.

What is the fighting all about? What happened to the Universal values of compassion, tolerance and Love taught in the scriptures? How can each side stop blaming the other?

Let's say your child's teacher is an excellent educator and your child adores them. However, they are of a different religion than you and don't try to hide it. They don't try to force their religion on anyone or teach it to the kids, but they wear a symbol of their religion, and if asked, they tell the truth about what they believe.

What would you do? Anything?

Isnt it funny when atheists are like "quit pushing your religion on me" when you're not even the one pushing it on anyone? when really atheists are the one who keep trying to prove to everyone there is no God.

Apparently, even when you can't hear god, it's proof that he exists.
Isn't that great?

.....who would like to tell 'us' all about it, I just saw a programme on BBC and it sounds like a sensible religion. I always thought it was another 'freak' cult, but this programme shows it to be an apparently well balanced modern form of worship.
I would like to know more about it. It may not be for me.......but who knows?

A priest once told me, you would be pardon of your sin once you accept Christ and ask for forgiveness..

The question is, if I go and kill my enemy that immediately proceed to a Church and ask Christ for forgiveness, will Christ reject me?

If not, then I can go on committing sins after sins and immediately follow up with a dose of confession and ask for forgiveness and perpetually be sin free. I'll still get a one way ticket to Heaven.

I get a lot of hate mail from different users, far shissed, Viper, Dr. Peas, printninja and others.

Today I received a piece of hate mail from "far shissed" I sent a "reply", blocked "far shissed" and received a reply from "Dr. Peas".

I began thinking that most of these hate mails are the same person after I asked a question about how many of you send hate mail and the vast majority of you replied that you do not send hate mail.

I am beginning to think that there are maybe two or three trolls out there sending hate mail, sometimes Christian and sometimes Atheist. The point is not their position on religion since they really do not have one. I believe their only purpose is to send hate mail for some sick reason.

I was wondering if any of you that had been receiving either Christian or Atheist hate mail have the same suspicions, that most of it is just from a couple of people with different screen names?

Thanks

Do you feel that in order to grow spiritually you have to acknowledge and deal with your emotions, heal from pain, try to understand others emotions and accept that our emotions serve only as catalysts to deeper understanding and awareness if we actively learn about them?

We all know according to the Christians, each and everyone of us has a soul. When you die, your soul will either go to Heaven or Hell base on your merits.
BUT! what happen to our soul before we are born.

Do we have consciousness. If we do, why don't we remember about it.

Are we just sort of like floating in a cryogenic chamber like a vegetable?

The bible never ever covered that part of the story did it?
It's preplexing isn't it?

Star please if you think this is a good question.
