You didn't do anything wrong, dear heart. Some folks just like to report anything with which they do not agree. It's the way it is here sometimes; you just have to learn to roll with it.

Sorry to hear someone reported you, here is what i think. If you don't like it then there is nothing i can do about it.

Paul was imprisoned in Rome for a time.

The Greek church is all seeing and all doing.

He did not teach the Greek church anything.

In fact he was on a fact finding mission to try and get a broader understanding of the religion in my views.

Greek Christian Orthodox religion has not changed since the time of Jesus's death and the story written in Greek is still exactly the same.

Only the other Church's have made additions to their bible's. I mean the Greek church does not believe in an overall ruler such as the pope and does not believe that you have to abstein from marriage if you are a priest.

There is no where in the Orthodox bible where this type of thing is written.

The Catholic's made this up in order to create their own church.

The Roman's at the time were a strange bunch.

I am just happy i am Greek Orthodox. I believe in the true story of Christ.

I do not like these priests who abuse young children. Or who remain single, they do not know the real world.

I haven't seen the question and answer, but in answer to your first question: yes, I believe people can be nasty. But you asked another: "What so-called religion does not believe in the writing of Paul; anyone know?" At least that's what I assume you meant.

The only people who DO believe in the writings of Paul are Christians. It is in the New Testament of the Bible, which is only about Christianity. So the list of those religions (the "so-called" was rather rude, you know) which do not believe in it would be quite long. Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Pagans, Wiccans, etc., etc., etc.

Please get over the idea that Christianity is the only religion. It does not serve you well.

YA abuse team don't actually read much (if any) of what they action. However, was it actually a question? Proving a point does sound like telling and not asking.

As far as Paul goes, many christians find Paul's writings to be highly subjective and suspicious and wonder whether they ought to have been included.

You should not be reported for quoting scripture.

Although-to post an extremely long piece of scripture that has nothing to do with the question at hand and it simply proselytizing...then that would be spam.
I'm not saying that is what you did, I'm simply giving a case in which it would be against the TOS.

You quoted something which was written hundreds of years ago and may not be valid in this day and age.
Not many people believe in the bible, I don`t. I think it is a load of tripe and the stories inside it are not true; just embellishments of something that happened but quite boring and added onto to make it interesting.
In any case, why was this Paul so clever? He was only quoting what he thought, it does not mean to say it was true. Like some others, like Hitler, he had the knack of making people listen to his rantings and ravings and actually believing them. Once embedded in the brain, they are difficult to get rid of.

I think the abuse button may be often over used and a simple means of getting someone banned.

BUT, without knowing the question and answer, which you have not supplied, it's impossible to answer your question.

Please give us a link to the question that you answered and was reported on and I will give you a fair and honest answer.

Any reference to Christianity is attacked by about half of the people who "answer" on Yahoo Answers. A mention of the Bible or Christ will bring out the nasty people. The Religion & Spirituality section is kind of a scary place!

Will the Yahoo "Abuse Police" allow you to explain your answer to them or let you present your defense?

Good luck.

I think Yahoo should address the way they monitor questions better. They are relying too much on the community and not really checking out the complaint properly. It is probably automated using key words.
Please don't take it to heart.

You didn't do anything wrong! It's the way of satan to try to stop the Word of God. If someone reports you for abuse they have to tell you but you and God knows as well as all of us who read the Bible knows you are ok! God bless you!

Uh... not saying that the person who reported you wasn't being a jerk, but a lot more religions don't believe in the writings of Paul than ones that do. Buddhism, Hinduism, and Wicca, just to name a few.
