Everything is proof of god, That's how they prove god! God did it is such an easy answer and for people who prefer not to think.

I don't know how anybody can say anything about hearing god as nobody knows what god sounds like. How do you know you can't hear god? Maybe he speaks to you all the time, but not knowing what he sounds like you would not know. Maybe he is speaking to you but you aren't listening or, to put it another way, you are not hearing.
