Erm well firstly i swear muslims do not believe in the 2nd coming of christ, and also people interparate their scriptures differently. They also differ in main points in their holy books.
Im not aware that these 2 religions are activly engaging in fighting with each other. Most muslims are very peaceful but you do get the muslim extremists saying 'Kill Jews and Christians' o i suppose this is were the 'fighting' is comming from but from what i have seen or heard they are the only ones doing this ;)

We believe differently about the Second Coming of Jesus. Muslims believe Jesus will return as a Muslim man. Do you have any idea how insulting that is to Christianity? Muslims also believe Jesus will die after 40 years. Again, how insulting to assume Our Lord and Savior will be buried next to Muhammad! Muslims also believe that they will kill all the Jews. Muslims also believe they will have a war with Christians. How can you expect compassion, tolerance and Love when islam teaches none of that? How can you say islam and Christianity have the same beliefs when they are totally opposite?
Christians believe that Jesus will rid the world of evil and reign for 1000 years. Christians believe that God will save Israel from attacks by the Antichrist. Don't you see that islam says allah will do the things that the Antichrist will attempt to do? Thank God Jesus will not return as a Muslim and the world will finally know peace when Our Lord and Savior returns!
God Bless.

I don't think there's any real fighting. I mean, you don't see the Imam-e-Kabah and the Pope fighting, do you?
But there are disagreements, however, the biggest one being that although both believe in the second coming of Jesus, Christians think that as he is son of God he will come and save them, whereas Muslims know that he was a prophet sent to deliver the messsage of Allah and will therefore side with them.
What really disturbs me, sometimes, is that there are some Christians who... well, they go too far and start insulting the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because they don't believe in him. This really upsets Muslims because they not only revere Muhammad (pbuh) but also Jesus, so they don't attack Christianity in that way.

no fighting, Christians just disagree that Muhammad is a prophet and don't believe that Quran is the words of Allah,
Muslims don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, that's all
