Yes, because Christians are taught that if you have heard about the word of God and yet you still do not convert then you are going to Hell. Oh and there's that belief that even if you do a whole bunch of good works and still don't convert then you are still going to Hell. I don't understand it myself, but that's what others have told me. Perhaps Ghandi said it best "I consider western Christianity in its practical working a negation of Christ’s Christianity" and he also said something about Christianity being a good religion if people would actually follow it.

The real extreme one would say yes because he didn't believe in Christ he is in hell. But most would say that Gandhi and Jesus both preached a belief in Non Violence, Render unto Caesar ..., and love ,Treat your neighbor as you would like to be treated, so Gandhi has been a good man and would be in heaven.
My Belief is that Gandhi is in Heaven and talks to Jesus which pisses Jerry Falwell of no end.

There are two Ghandi's One is Gandhi.
And I don't know what he did. I don't know if he was presented the Saving Gospel of Christ & denied it or not.
I doubt he ever received Jesus Christ atonement for his sins. So. Then he wouldn't be in heaven. Even one sin will keep us out of heaven.
If he ended up in hell it would be because he led people away from the LORD. And I guess I would have to know more about him. Hell is prepared for the devil & his messengers.

I dont know. Who are we to say that he is. My bible says Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me. Who is to say that he didnt receive Christ. I guess we will all find out one day, and we may all be in for a shock.

he was a pretty peaceful, good guy. but just because he isn't "christian." if i said this out loud, that word would be very sarcastically said.

Yes and No everyone goes to hell, but hell is just another word for dead. the bible speaks of Jesus being in hell. if you die your in "hell" your dead and don't feel anything.
